I'd say do a fresh reinstall if you're having problems without mods. I use mods all the time and play multiplayer constantly in GTA4. So unless it's a mod, I'd say do a fresh reinstall.

I don't play with car mods, and my last session with LCPDFR, it didn't crash me, and I played for about an hour or so before I ended my session. I think it's the ELS car mods that are causing the crashing. I know when I use to use ELS car mods (or car mods in general), I would crash after about half an hour of play. So you can try playing with out ELS car mods or just no car mods. Sorry that I am not much of help.

So you installed LCPDFR through the installer application, ran the game as admin, and still getting an error?

That's because the vehicles are missing some sorta texture for the lights, the indicaters work just fine. I didn't change anything with the models, they're straight from TLAD and TBoGT without any edit. You can install this to fix the vehicles that are missing the headlight textures or w/e: http://www.gta4-mods.com/vehicles/tbogt---vehicle-fix-f6310

@nic123 Cops wont use it, use Traffic Spawner if you want the vehicles to spawn around normally. But it is a police vehicle, has pretty lights and sirens and shit.

@Tango It has some vehicles from TLAD and some from TBoGT. Not all. GTA4 can't support all the new vehicles. @ModKing244 Just add it in if you want it, I didn't do it because it's not like it would work anyways.

@strike Yes, some of the vehicles will spawn in traffic if you install the cargrp.dat file. Just as a note, the police vehicles wont, I'd use Traffic Spawner for them.

---About This Mod--- It adds sergeant patchs to the fat cops clothing, removes his downgraded model, and has a little fix on the rain coat. ---What This Mod Has--- -Puts sergeant patchs on the short sleve shirt and jacket. -Fixed a problem were the duty belt would spawn with the rain coat. -Added an extra texture for the rain coat. -Removed the downgraded model from the model its self. ---Credit--- Custo ---Final Notes--- I made this so I can, some what, like the fat cops more. Not sure if it will work, but I'd thought others might like it more than me.
