I just thought the suddency at which the debate ended was a bit interesting. It went from a hardcore debate to absolutely nothing, and nobody responding. A lot of the debate topics here don't end that way, and those that participate in them know this, especially me lol. You might be right, maybe people just got tired of debating; but I personally think it was because no one had any valid arguments left. Both are possibilities and only the people that didn't respond truly know why they stopped responding.

Now can I ask you to elaborate when you say there isn't any right or wrong answer? I don't think I understand what you mean by that. From how I understand it, you are saying that there is no simple or definite solution to make the whole gun situation better? If this is true, then why are there people that believe completely banning guns would actually work? I understood what he meant when he gave the quote, I was simply saying that just because someone quotes something doesn't necessarily mean that it really matters, even if it is relevant. When I said someone was invalidated, it's because the last post was by a gun supporter that brought up several correct points, and he never received a response from ANY of the anti-gun supporters. And there were several of them in that topic.

I actually don't see how that's supposedly a bad thing. Good to weigh all of your options. Also, just because someone from history says something, doesn't mean that it's correct or true. I can create a quote right now. "Always eat your boogers". Does that mean it will go down in history as an important quote? Not at all. I'd also like to say that having a gun debate again is kind of pointless. There have been several topics on the gun situation in America, and each has ended with the anti-gun supporters being completely invalidated. Here is a topic where we've already had this discussion. That's exactly what I'm talking about. Apparently the Nazi symbol represents hate and racism and genocide, but the Confederate flag is perfectly fine? The Confederate flag was waved as blacks were lynched, mutilated, raped, burned, beaten, whipped, killed. The Nazi flag was waved while Jews and other minority groups were sent to concentration camps and murdered in the streets. I just don't understand how anyone can say that the Confederate flag is any more appropriate than the Nazi flag, it just seems very hypocritical to me. Both represent an era of hate and violence. You can wave a flag that represents people of darkened skin being whipped and enslaved, but I can't wave a flag that represents genocide and murder? Neither is any better than the other, and mass enslavement by force is just as bad as mass murder.

This is a point that I don't understand. I'll explain why below with a similar situation, the swastika. If I were to wave a confederate flag on my profile here on the forum, would my account receive sanctions? If not, would it be because of what you described above? If the answer is yes, then why is a swastika any different? If I can wave a confederate flag because of the reasons you've mentioned, Pavelow, then can't I also wave a swastika to represent peace and tranquility? Or would my account receive sanctions for having a swastika up, supposedly representing Nazism? This whole concept of, something is only bad if you look at the bad it was used for, doesn't make any sense to me.

A man named Dylann Roof shot and killed 9 people in a mostly black church a few days ago. Dylann claims that it was done to help save the white race, and end an underground white genocide. Dylann claims that whites in the African nations of Zimbabwe and South Africa are being slaughtered, tortured, and raped by blacks. (This is actually somewhat true when you do research. If you want more information on this, do a bit of research on whites in Zimbabwe). Dylann also makes comments saying that American patriotism is a joke, people believe in a false sense of freedom when in reality whites are being murdered in the streets daily. I just wanted to take the time to create this topic and thank the LCPDFR Development team for all of their hard work. They work endlessly to produce quality mods, day and night, week after week; yet they continue to provide their creations free of charge. If it weren't for them I would honestly have a large gap in my everyday schedule. This may not seem like a big deal to some, but I wanted to show my appreciation for the development team and all of their hard work. As we approach the release of yet another outstanding mod, known as LSPDFR, I just wanted to tell the development team that you have the full support of the GTA modding community, and godspeed to you guys. I applaud you for everything you do, and I have crazy respect for the effort and time you put into making your mods great. I would also like to thank any other modders that put countless time into creating things that we all enjoy. That's all I, and I'm sure the rest of the community, wanted to say. Thanks for everything, and we look forward to all of your future creations.

I would also like to see this option implemented. I have no problems with the gallery, but if I want to view the gallery then I'll view the gallery. Plus, the gallery drops down half the page and slows down the loading time for me on any device I use.

By the way, there is no modern game that exists where you play as riot police in a riot situation. There are plenty of birds eye view riot games that suck, though. This would be awesome though. Hopefully a company will develop something like this, sort of a massive PvP open world environment type of thing. As far as a rags to riches game, what exactly do you mean by that?

The Sims is the first game that comes to mind. If you decide to purchase or pirate that game, the easiest way to get to riches is to have sex with the city mayor.

It's actually very easy to enforce. Every other forum that has the word filter doesn't have any visible problems, from a forum user perspective, with the word filtering. As Arse said, how easy it is to bypass the filter isn't very relevant in my opinion. If they're trying to bypass the filter, then they know that they're breaking the rules and should be punished regardless. Just witnessed a small situation on the forum of a user going to every topic and typing in curse words. All of the curse words were censored to silly words relevant to the game, and the users account is currently suspended.

I see nothing wrong with having a community discussion on something like this. If you have a problem with participating in the discussion, then the solution is simple. Get out. If you'd like to participate, then by all means I'd love to hear your view on the topic.
