Yeah, piracy is mean. But with the recession going on here in England, desperate times call for desperate measures. But you can't really compare textures with blockbuster games.

I'm just gonna go ahead and say it, IM A PIRATE!! So I don't give a damn about GFWL and whatnot. And no, its not like I'm proud of being a pirate or anything, I only pirate old games (like IV), 'cos, you know, I doubt companies really care about making anymore money from old games.

To start off, I've read the guidelines and its mentioned that the 'freval' error is being looked into. But, I just want to know if any progress has been made to fix this. I've got the hotfix, which does indeed reduce quite a few bugs, but just can't prevent crashes. Very, very sorry if I shouldn't be posting this but I just have to know. Like I said, R* has removed quite a few videos due to the usage of their copyrighted radio. I don't think you can remove leaks on copyright claims however. I think we've pretty much summed up that yeah, its a fake, nothing more nothing less.

That's a very 'un-rockstarish' thing to do. Guess their just getting really cocky 'cos of all those sales.. but Take 2 and R* are pretty much the same.. right? I've heard about a lot of GTA V videos being taken down because they include copyrighted music (the GTA radio stations).

Don't you think Rockstar would say that there'd be no PC release by now, if they really weren't gonna release it for PC?

ArmA's pretty fun, has a shit ton of mods (DayZ being one of them), and also has a lot of graphics settings so you can play it fine on netbooks even. Its a combat simulator, like Battlefield but much more realistic. However, its meant for online play (but does have single player campaign). You should also give Saints Row a go, which again, has plenty of graphics settings.

Verrrry likely to not happen though. I mean, I understand why you'd want to protect your mod, but I think just asking the guy to give you credits will do. Creative Commons is just a step too far, and pretty unnecessary in this line of work.

Personally I really don't care if anyone's looking over us. The NSA has nothing to gain from spying, and I doubt they'd care much about we do, or take action against what we do. They're just watching, nothing else (as far as I'm aware). IMO, the less we know the better.

IV has near-infinite (if not infinite) map boundaries. If you think this is impressive, check out the Route 66 map mod ;)

Tried installing it again? There's also a dozen tutorials on sites like gtaforum on how to fix crashes, look it up.

Are you playing a pirated copy? I'm currently playing a bit of San Andreas with no problems.

A full LOD map of GTA V has already been released on GTA4-mods.com ..and on the topic of whether the games coming out on PC or not, IMO it definitely is. Don't you think by now they'd say that its not coming out on PC?

Nice... but personally, I just think driving round in a cop car just looks a tad foolish, I mean, I'm all for retired CVPI's (so long as they're cheap) but just why do some people drive around in fully equipped CVPI's. FYI this is just to feed my curiosity, because I don't doubt that there are some people on LCPDFR who have proper police vehicles as their daily drive.
