  2. as soon as I press C to go to a station it gives a 5 star wanted level and can not get rid of it... is this normal?
  3. i cant even put it into zmod to place it on a vehicle.. something is wrong with it
  4. have to be careful also that some of the light models are not done correctly and are not mapped right with the dummies and will crash your game..... I have run into that issue....
  5. you cant have any names in your hierchy that are the same. you need to put extra_1a or extra_1b under the extra_1
  6. I have modded a vehicle with some lights and when I spawn it into GTA4 it works most of the time. When I quit out of GTA and then load GTA back up and spawn the same vehicle with no new modifications I will get the fatal error saying invaild resource detected-reinstall your game. But then I can go back and forth from loading the game and spawning and sometimes it will work.. Anyone know of this issue? been going on for a while now... Thanks
  7. ok I merge the .z3d file and then exported it and it did the same thing... For some reason the _L0 isn't following suit when it is imported..... So I am assuming don't export the z3d file and then import it.. Just have my model open and hit merge? I now have opened the car model and added the textures of the vertex and merged the .z3d and it froze zmodeler... It still won't load in lol
  8. anyone know how to correctly import the vortex led's? I open the z3d file into zmod and the textures and it shows up fine but once I export it to be able to import it onto a model, the textures are gone and so are the Vortex_L_L0. it only shows up as below in the pic... If anyone could tell me how to export this so the LO files stay as is and can be used on a vehicle... that would be awesome.. Thanks

When opened the .z3d file and exported it as a wft file to import it onto my carfor some reason the L0 files did not come with the export so when I imported the soundoff.wft file there was no texture in zmod. But when I loaded my car into openIV the texture was there... I was putting 4 grille lights onto the car but when I put the fourth light into the grille the game would fatal error my game... 3 grille lights would work fine... It was weird... So what I did was load the soundoff.z3d file into zmod then imported my wft car model I was using and attached the grille lights that way and the L0 files showed upalong with the textures of the light.... Exported my model and loaded it into the game and it worked fine which was a relief....

  11. Using the soundoff signal led3 mini lights and when I put the fourth one onto the grille and go in game I get a fatal error. The hierchy is correct and everything is placed right.. When I take the fourth one off and just have 3 of them in the grille the car works fine in game.. anyone have any ideas? Also when I load the mini lights into zmod they dont have any textures but in game they do... Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

  13. is it possible to change the front windshield on a 2011 dodge charger? There is a black piece on the windshield that is blocking the inside lightbar and wanted to chage it so I can place the light higher... Picture is attached..... thanks in advance

  15. yes like that but the full center tail light and the outsides. I know how to do wig wags... I was wondering if there was something special you have to do to get the lights set up like els mapping thats all. The reason I am asking this is because the tail light is not able to copy the tail light to map it as els. The outter tail light I can but the center one is the one I am asking about to get a copy of it to map it...
  16. Just wondering how you make the whole back tail light/brake lights els flash. Is there a certain light to download or do you make it from scratch? can't seem to be able to find it.... thanks in advance
  17. it is not my model to give out. I have just been practicing with it... All I did was create a box over the light I was re mapping and then thining it down to almost nothing and applying the els texture to the box and naming it extra_1 or whatever. The tutorial on here is very good at explain how to do it... That is how i learned... trial and error... took me a few weeks to do...
  18. THe line 94 means that something in your hierarchy is a duplicate and needs to be changed to another name. for example: extra_1_L0 is listed twice or something along those lines... Or extra_1 is listed twice or more times and needs to be like extra_1a and so on..
  19. I had the same problem and I mapped the light for els myself last night and now it works fine. Lights are not on steady burn or anything. Its like a normal light now

  21. nope i dont need to touch the wig wags... this model is all done up already.. no need.. doesnt matter what extra i attach it to, it turns on with the vehicle...
  22. yes i disable them before i spawn the vehicle. what does the trainer have to do with a model?

  24. sorry but i attached a picture to show what it was doing,.... didnt know that constitued as a bump.... Here is the problem.... The quadraflare lights only have a dummy attached as the extra so I just slide the extra into the extra_1 part of the model.... If i leave the extra out of the model and just place the lights in the model the lights stay on by themselves.... I can't tell if the model of the light is messed up or what
