Okay so, I'm using the quadflares made by SSanchez10 Modifications and I'm using the half quad. Now the glass isnt mapped so it doesn't have a color which is good because i wanted it to be white. So i copied the model and did everything to make it a wig wag of sorts. (The same routine for the headlights.) The problem is, no matter what i do, the light is always lit up on the vehicle. as soon as i enter the vehicle it just goes to a steady burn and wont flash with the rest of the lights. Im stumped over this and have been working on it for hours trying to see if i could get it to work but no luck. I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me at all. I have no idea what to do...

 

Or, if someone know if there is an ambulance light out there that just flashes white, that'd be great. I really can't figure out why it would just remain sold no matter what. Im so confused lol. Hopefully someone knows a solution or a light that i could get. Thanks!

I had the same problem and I mapped the light for els myself last night and now it works fine. Lights are not on steady burn or anything. Its like a normal light now

Sorry i know this is a bit old but, im having the worst time trying to remap it. Anyway you could give me your model? Ill probably map it for a different color but ive honestly put up with the model for long enough lol.

it is not my model to give out. I have just been practicing with it... All I did was create a box over the light I was re mapping and then thining it down to almost nothing and applying the els texture to the box and naming it extra_1 or whatever. The tutorial on here is very good at explain how to do it...  That is how i learned... trial and error... took me a few weeks to do...
