  1. Oh dear, this doesn't sound too good. I will have a look into it and see what was changed. Perhaps when we were making the pursuits more stable something here was altered. Thanks as always for reporting this.
  2. Because of the way we do it, it certainly isn't. The biggest hurdle is individually testing each callout and fixing bugs with them, that takes forever.
  3. Very nice +Rep
  4. Looks like there is something wrong there, hopefully it'll be fixed in 0.90e.
  5. Hey tanyitong, looks like this was a common crash caused by the chases which we hope we have fixed in the next version of LCPDFR. Sam.
  6. We have tried to put as much as an emphasis as possible on more routine police work whilst at the same time making sure the mod is enjoyable for all. We will continue to look at both sides of policing and develop on all the ideas people give us.

  8. In 0.90e we have included more backup systems

  10. The problem with illumination is that it is much more complex in certain ways than ELS. Illum draws light coronas (the ones which every light in GTA IV use as their light texture) at specific vehicle offset positions which means that one build of illum can only ever work on one car as different cars have different offsets for the lightbars and other lights. ELS will work on any 'ELS Enabled' vehicle as it simply maps textures to the cars as 'extra parts' and uses a native to toggle the extras on and off. If I was able to get the position of the siren dummies or the 'Extra 1' dummy (Where the lightbar is usually located on non ELS vehicles) then illum would work with nearly all non-ELS vehicles, unfortunately this isn't the case and to roll out illumination for every car would be quite a workload indeed. Illum is one of these things that I'd love to continue but just don't have the time or the graft to do it.
  11. I don't think any of the above in their current form should be implemented. Recruiting cops poses a problem of realism. You have the ability to spawn as many partners as you want which should be sufficient, finding a random officer on the street and forcing him to be your partner just doesn't jive for me. Traffic stops whilst on foot seem nonsensical to me unless they were part of a vehicle checkpoint or something. Your third suggestion makes perfect sense but unfortunately things like this I have no control over as they are hardcoded in the game.
  12. You can use a browser which provides this such as Google Chrome, I'm sure there will be FF plug-ins too.
  13. In the future we plan on making LCDFR more multi-player optimized. Regarding the models, some of them have limited speech capabilites, for example, the NOOSE Helicopter Pilot only has speech for megaphone commands.

  17. A wide-ranging vague question, what would you like to see more of in LCPDFR? It could be almost anything, shoot-outs, more 'routine' police work, car chases etc.

Only problem there was that some ****** named Jay wasn't around to help me with it.
