Yes, RC2 fixed from here to elaborate, I hit F to get out, but while getting out or at the exact same moment I hit E, bringing up the FR computer, I hit log out, then it bugged and locked the cars.

No, it played the locked door anim over and over, even when I toggled locked/unlocked doors with SNT, debug/reset scripts didn't entirely fix it either

Give a clear, detailed description of the problem: I pulled somebody over in an LCPD cruiser, I got out and hit E accidentally at the exact same time as the getting out animation was being played. While stood next to the door,the computer came up despite me not sitting in the car. I was able to get the ID but when I went to check it, the cruiser was locked on me, civilian cars were also locked for me, even when I went off duty I couldn't get in any cars at all.tt Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem. No, those are seperate mods entirely. Think of it like this. LCPD's like a new house, it has furniture, electrics and stuff in it But, to get the stuff you want you have to add it in.

Really, really simple Q I remember reading up on something that caused civilians to commit crimes and carjack. What mod was it, and where can I find it? Google's found nothing except stories of GTAIV influencing crimes.

First off, install it, patch it up to 1.0.7.0, play through the opening mission, then make a save Then, download and install the mod and install any missing things, you may have to restart. Install the mod and pick ONE of the two ASI loaders. Once that's done, go into IV (or EFLC), and load your save Hit ALT+P. Drive to a star icon on the map (or hit esc, set a waypoint then hit esc again to get back into the game and hit the ' key, and type teleport wp Once in the station, walk to the far end (the door directly in front of you) to go on duty. After that, go outside, pick a car, and patrol. Hit shift+Tab to see the key list, and most importantly...HAVE FUN Hope that helps

Alt+K on foot clears the area, IIRC it gets people out of their cars too

That was beta 1 which had no traffic, there's a chance beta 2 may work now it has AI/peds/traffic. I doubt there'd be any official SAPDFR however, but....the community's resourceful :)

It's about context though JAM, football coaches chew gum and spit and (famously for Jerry Glanville curse up a storm) do whatever on the sidelines on national TV and nobody cares, soldiers do most of the stuff you listed as well both on and off duty (it's a trope about drill sergeants swearing at the recruits), IMO, it's about perception, but it goes both ways, yeah that cop was in the wrong, but at the same time the cops/whatever else are being held to too high standards, nobody can be perfect 100% of the time. IMO, having a cop belch or swear or spit around me is not unprofessonal, it's human, at the end of the day, they are not machines. Let's say for an example, you get stopped by a cop who then gets their car run into that hits yours and the cop, hurting them, would you expect the cop to keep it G-rated? I wouldn't, I'd be perfectly fine with the cop swearing about how it hurts and how he needs backup. i gave the scanner a listen for a few hours earlier, didn't hear anything too interesting EDIT: IMO part of the whole unprofessional problem is TV/media always associates unprofessonal with dirty cops also, and paints cops as either good or dirty typically.

i had that earlier in Hove Beach, except it was AKs, taze the guy, drops a pistol, gets an AK, taze agan, drops the AK, grabs another one, rinse and repeat till there's 4 aks and a pistol, the ensuing shootout was....interesting, finally found a use for the NOOSE chopper, the ASU crashing bug worked in my favor, it wiped out a lot of gun toting people. I want to know where he fits them all, and I think he's obviously compensating for something

To go slightly off topic here, I think people have this idea that cops are always supposed to be lawful good and never ever do any wrong, they get that from TV, movies, games, books, etc where the cops are nearly always portrayed as the good guys, and are shocked when cops do the smallest thing wrong.

The reason the NOOSE copter isn't an issue is because they're too lazy to actually do anything except sightsee :) (Disclaimer: I call them into a shootout, they do nothing though I'm taking fire, do I have to aim at somebody and hit 3 to get them to fire?)
