If you're having that much difficulty getting an internet connection, you might as well go to a friend's house with your computer and ask to borrow their internet. You're going to keep getting frustrated with this if you keep trying to use credits on your phone.

I just got this error too. I just saw the game updated on Steam, so the different versions must be competing together. Sucks because I just put on a new mod and was going to test it, when I got the error too.

Yes, you'll need to go into the vehicle files using Open IV. Go to x64e.rpf, levels, GTA5, vehicles, sheriff.ytd and change the sheriff lights file that is in there, then save.- 11 comments

San Andreas had SAMP, IV had IVMP, but is there one yet for GTA V? I would like to play with mods and other things without rockstar constantly kicking me off.

Yes, you press the N key while in the vehicle, and at the very top option, arrow over and you should see emergency lighting at the very bottom. You can select lights only in that option, while the other ones are lights & siren and off.

There have been several times where I will walk away from a police car with the ELS flashing and when I return to the car, the lights are either frozen in place or are completely off. Does anyone know what causes this or how to fix it? It's very irritating especially on traffic stops.

I was in the middle of a pursuit the other day and my game crashed. It was a BEX error, which I found out has to do with buffer overflow. It said the fault was ELS. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Has anyone had this issue before? Many thanks.

I've been searching for an ELS strobe crown victoria with a whelen edge as pictured below. If anyone could provide a link to a vehicle with a lightbar similar to this, I would really appreciate it.

This is the original Houston Police texture, in columbian blue color. I would suggest using a strobe crown victoria for more realism. I am using this crown victoria, which the texture fits perfectly onto and the lights are accurate as well. This file is only the texture, so you'll need to download the vehicle.

Have you tried taking out the HK? There might either be an issue with that model or you're missing a file
