Actually Tom, 90% of the time, yes it doesn't matter, Sometimes it fails to detect anything, this happened to me a few dozen times, dropped it in the GTAiv folder, and what do you know..detected everything No your antivirus should have nothing to do with anything unless it detected the installer as a threat, would you mind runnign the diagnostic again to be sure everything is installed correctly after you installed c++2010 (x86)?
