Hey everyone, Today I bring to you a 1998 retired CVPI vehicle (Yes I know i've seen a 2011 CVPI, Charger, and even 2016 FPIU already. However they felt to new to be retired already, to me anyways) However I made this one for my own personal use and got lots of request to share it so figured I would upload it for everyone else to enjoy. The reason for the creation is that I wanted to make the police impersinator call out a little more unique and different each time I would get the call that would involve the stanier. Mine is a 1998 CVPI that is multi-livery enabled with a faded black and white paint job, Maroon, White, Black, and Dark Blue so that one is never the same. Also the vehicle has 4 extra's to make it stand out or not stand out as much. All three antenna's on the trunk are extras, the Working Spotlight is an extra, and Finally the Rambar is an Extra. This way when you get the call it isn't just the same stanier. Installation: Replace the stanier files (Vehicle Model) files at the below location: \GTA V\X64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf Replace the Vehicles meta at the below location in OPEN IV: \GTA V\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5\vehicles.meta Credits: Retemplate for easier paintjob by Thero 1998 Dev CVPI Created by Lundy BFRS-EMT: Progard partition PSource and Sergitj: Duffle bag, medkit Rhino Rambar - Model is made from scratch by F5544 Textures are made by Lt.Caine. Yes. And in saying that you made a lightbulb go off in my head lol. Your second texture in the image. Is that the template or paint job? If so rename it to what ever_sign_1

Yea everything is right then. Your good on that. What about changing them to PNG files? Shouldn't make a difference but thats just what I'm use to using.

Mustang Skin Problem
Here you go man. The top right corner is the engine bay, inner door panels, and along the inside of the door where you were having those problems. Template is included in the download along with the files all set.

If that is the case it sounds like the vehicle model is ready to accept multi liveries. In your material for the template or paint job. Is the first image/texture the vehicle spec map file? If not it should be that and the second one the paint job or template for the vehicle. Is it setup like that? Anyway you could post a picture of the material open? I could look and make sure your setup right.

For the liveries the first one will always appear however the way you can tell is if when using your trainer and highlight liveries under vehicle options if it has a -1 then its not right. If it has a 0 or above its good.

Do you know the name of the original texture? It should usually be a name with an underscore then sign and a number like below that shows it being multi livery A_sign_1

How to properly create two gta v directory folders, one for modding and MP?
Aww okay.....Well I'm not sure then. Just guessing but maybe within the folder run the GTA V application and it should load the game files from within that folder then? It still wouldn't solve how STEAM would know which one you would want to run.

That I'm not sure. I didn't think you could run the game with mods without Rage Plugin but I could be wrong.

You can place it where ever you would like. You don't launch a modded version of the game through steam. You go to the GTA folder and look for the rage plugin hook application and run it through that.

LCPDFR Crash
I would say that it is possibly a script that is causing it to happen. I would recommend deleting all your scripts in your Plugins folder minus the LSPDFR files and then giving it a try. If it still does I would say start with a fresh copy of the game and start adding your mods one at a time to see if they work.

If you open up gta 5 through rage plugin hook GTA online should be disabled already for this reason. However if you wanted to do as they show you would need a vanilla version of the game. Then make a copy of it and paste it where you would like it and add all your mods to that file and it should be consider your SP one. Then the Vanilla one would be the original folder. Hope I explained that pretty good.

Making lightsbars extras question
Did you move them as children in the extra that the lightbar is? That might be the problem. Also if that doesn't work try renaming the extra. I've found that to help sometimes as well.

Yes this is from the model itself which is from the modeler. The UV Mapping is stretching the side into the inside of the door. I could fix it if the model was unlocked and with the authors permission

Okay I got the truck and the lights working together however I don't know what you have to change in order for the truck to tow the vehicle right (the truck will pick up the car and throw it on the back behind the truck and drive off without the car on it). Heres the model. Oh okay. If you want I could take my template version of the flatbed truck and the template version of the tow truck from my template download file over on gta 5 mods and put the lights on the tow truck on the flatbed and it'll be template so you can paint it however you want. Would that be what your looking for?

Oh if your looking just to replace the tow truck you could just move the original flatbed out of the open iv location rename all of them to tow truck and move it back it. But I'm not sure if that would work or not
