Hi, i'v bought GTA V PC Version only to play LSPDFR but i can't play it. 

I start GTA V via Rockstar Games Launcher (not from Steam bc i can't) and then i open RPH. I've tried to open RPH after i've started story mode, when i'm in game, before opening GTA V, at the same time of GTA V but nothing. I quick attend a answer because i've bought that only to play LSPDFR and now i'm really inclined to ask for a refund. I hope there is a solution, thanks in advance.

there should be a shortcut to a exe on your desktop that says launch rage plugin hook, i use that to launch the game as that will also launch gta, you doing it the other way might not be hooking it correctly, other than that i donno what else would be causeing the issue, is there a rage plugin hook log file you can upload so someone can look at it?

maybe its throwning a code and thats the reason its locking up, also do you have any other mods running (car mods, exc) maybe a mod is in conflict with it preventing it to load

I think if it is stuck on launching game go into RPH settings and under Game Settings>Command Line Switches and click the Forced Window Mode.  Always open LSPDFR through RPH.  The GTAV launcher will come up but don't do anything.  RPH will override the GTAV launcher.  Just give it time.

all i know is i double press on a shortcut on my desktop called "RAGEPluginHook.exe - Shortcut"  which is linked to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\RAGEPluginHook.exe"

and then that will auto launch gta 5 launcher / game for me, after pressing RAGEPluginHook.exe - Shortcut i dont touch the pc until the game is on

my command line . txt file only has 2 commands in it "-disableCustomLoadingScreen -windowed" so its not doing anything else special , can you run normal gta 5 with out rage plugin hook, like does that load or does that hang too, if that hangs , something is wrong with your gta 5 install

LOL, yeah, definitely should not take an hour to load.  There is something else stopping it.   The way it should work is open RPH and wait for GTAV launcher to kick automatically.  Do you window mode checked/select in the RAGE settings?  Do you have your antivirus or any security programs running, including live scanning or real time scanning disabled?  ASI and scripthook is for mods and addon vehicles I think.  So if you installed anything more than LSPDFR and RAGE then you might need in install scripthook.  You might just install scripthook and in Open IV go to tools and ASI manager and install those 3.  Other than that, i think I'm out of ideas.

Thanks guys for your answers, i really appreciate it. Anyway i have the same problem. I've tried to reinstall GTA V, RHP and LSPDFR but Nothing. Iv'e tried to force Window Mode but nothing he's stuck on 'Launching Game...'. Maybe there'e problem on Windows 10? Can my installation miss some files?

I have windows 10 and it runs fine.  But I don't have steam, I have retail version but that doesn't make a difference.  There is something else causing it.  I am out of ideas for now.  If I think of something I'll come back. 

Did anyone end up finding a solution to this? I'm having the same problem now.

Same issue here, happened to me after rockstar was down. Now im getting stuck on the rage launching game screen.
