Stop the Ped AI arrests

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Is there a way to let LSPDFR 0.4 AI to haul of suspects that are arrested instead of having stop the ped take over their arrests as well? At times when there are several suspects, some of them get arrested by the AI cops but they are not taken away because they are under the control of stop the ped after their AI arrests. I want stop the ped to take over MY arrests only, not by AI cops as well. Each AI arrested suspect needs me to walk up to them and deal with them myself and it gets a bit much when there are too many suspects spread over a wide area after a long foot chase.

I am aware of the take over all arrests option in stop the ped configuration but that also takes over the AI arrests; I am looking for a normal AI arrest while mine is taken over by stop the ped.

Thanks!

Nah mate, I don't think disabling the file will work. I've never personally tried doing that, but it MIGHT end up crashing the game every time any arrest is made. We might need to script a mod where we have independent AI officers who make arrests AND transport them without the player's instructions. However, a feature like this means the player needs a counter mechanism or a kill switch when this hypothetical mod is in play, considering someone might want to frisk the AI arrested suspects before sending them off.

Bejoljo recently updated his plugins to work with the newest LSPDFR.  I'd go ahead and disable the option Officer 81 mentioned and see if it helps.

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

There it is, under the "Parameters" section. It will not take over the arrests made by yourself using the vanilla functions of LSPDFR anymore, though (when maintaining the "E" key). You'll have to use the double clic to access STP. Well... I think so anyway ! 🤔

Hello ! There's an option in the STP .ini file's named "take over all arrests" or something similar that you can disable, if I'm not wrong.

I appreciate all the suggestions; didn't expect so many replies. I don't mind living with Officer81's suggestion and having to manually double press E for the suspect that I arrested. Thanks a lot everyone! Happy New Year in advance!
