Coastal Callouts SUPPORT Thread

Recommended Posts

Hi Parksfan,

the template is as:

Spoiler

Have you read README.txt, and double-checked it at least twice?

* checked it against each step required and all correct I believe.

Did you watch the installation tutorial video?

once in full. twice stopping at each step and third to make sure i got it right.

Have you installed a compatible gameconfig.xml file? If so, link to the gameconfig you installed.

I took the gameconfig.xml and am using version LMLv2372v2

Have you installed a HeapAdjuster mod? If so, link to which one you installed.

No, not installed

If you are on the Cayo Perico update or later, have you removed CScenarioPoint-Patch.asi from your GTA V folder?

I have uploded the most up to date GTAV from Rockstar games.  Have not removed any files from there.

Did you install the OpenIV.asi from OpenIV?   -- No.

What game version are you on?

the version file says - 1.0.231.0

What version of RagePluginHook and LSPDFR do you have installed?

LSPDFR - 0.4.9   RPH -- v1.87.1293.16190

Have you installed Lenny's Mod Loader? If so, have you tested it with any other mods, and did it work?

Yes. Not used LML for any other mod

What version of LML do you have installed? Right-click on "ModManager.Core.dll" in your GTA V folder and check the version.

0.4 Build 7875

Upload a copy of the following files from your GTA V main folder:

RagePluginHook.log   --- did that above

vfs.log      attached now

modmanager.log  -- Done

Upload a screenshot of your GTA V/Plugins/LSPDFR folder.   Done

Upload a screenshot of your main GTA V folder.     Doneimage.thumb.png.bd5be37fdb352c173608419665eec8cc.png

Upload a screenshot of your GTA V/lml folder, and your GTA V/lml/downloader folder (if you installed the LML package with the mod manager)

   Done   image.thumb.png.5b48ac9391d3481e4e94c3517b298e2b.png

Describe your problem in detail. Explain what you have already tried to solve the problem.

All I do is lad Rage Plug In Hook as administrator. Generally it would load LSPDFR with a couple of other mods with no no issues.   However, after installing Coastal callouts with LML,  nothing at all loads.  It starts running GTA V with RPH and then goes back to Windows.    Does not even load LSPDFR.

I would appreciate some help to get Coastal Callouts working.

Thank you

Heap Adjuster and OpenIV.asi are required. Why did you not install those?

I have now installed Heap adjuster. As for Open IV, the lspdfr team advise that it is no longer available for download.   I'll see how I go.  Thanks

Download OpenIV here: https://openiv.com/

Then go to Tools > ASI Manager and make sure OpenIV.ASI is installed.

For example the possibility to call as coastal backup other means besides those already available.
For example add a vehicle that is not part of coastal callaout as an mlb1 in addition to MLB.

Edit the vehicles.xml file in GTA V/Plugins/LSPDFR/CoastalCallouts/ModelConfig, find the configuration you want to copy, and then modify the XML to create additional entries as needed.

Are you in singleplayer with the Coastal Callouts plugin running in LSPDFR on-duty?

  • What were you doing when the crash/bug occurred? Finishing the helicopter training
  • Did the game crash to desktop, or did the plugin crash? plugin crashed this time but I have had it crash to desktop on different occasions
  • Does the same crash or bug happen consistently? If so, describe the steps to reproduce the issue. Seems to be random, this time I was finishing a mission, other times I could just be walking around.
  • Upload a copy of RagePluginHook.log from your main GTA V folder.

I have reinstalled gta and only installed lspdfr along with coastal callouts and only the stuff required to run coastal callouts. I have been going one plugin/script at a time to see what is stable so I do not have spotlight, police tape and better ems. Just coastal, eup packages, heap, gameconfig. This time it was as soon as I landed the heli and it went to a black loading screen, the plugin instantly crashed and got stuck on the loading screen.

This may be caused by an invalid LSPDFR backup configuration. I am working on an update with a workaround to the issue, but in the meantime, check if you've modified any of the files in the lspdfr/data folder.

Only thing modified in there was the eupfr basic mod, not sure if that was needed for the other eup mods but ill put everything back to normal and see what happens

Yeah so I deleted the files that eupfr basic put in with oem lspdfr files and that fixed the problem. guess it was some updated ambulance model or npc model or something. I did see in the log it crashed when it spawned that ambo. Thanks again

Please install the latest version of RageNativeUI from https://github.com/alexguirre/RAGENativeUI/releases. The version that is included with Coastal Callouts does not work with the latest game version, and I have not had time to update the files yet.

Check your system time. If your system time is substantially off from the real time, the server check will fail. However, the mod will still work fine even if the check fails in this case. If you can't open the menu the issue might just be what key you have it set to use. Double check the INI; by default the key is "]" but you may need to change it if you don't have that key on your keyboard.

To update your time, open the start menu and type "time", and open the "Change system date and time" control panel option:

Then click the "synchronize your clock" button:
