That's Kit's Strobes mod, it's a seperate mod, you can turn them on or off by themselves, cannot WAIT for this release

Hmm I didn't think backup used the strobes... Unless that's a config setting in an .ini file that I've missed.

Really? The latest RC3 revision I'm using is from 1 month ago because the nightly servers are down... and so is JIRA.

There is an updated version of the mod that allows AI Police to use the strobes, even work's when AI ELS is turned off.

the updated version was released not long after the first release.

They are not releasing RC3 to the public, we won't see anything until 0.95 Final is released, and they won't release that until all the bugs are solved. The only reason RC2 was released was some tester released it against the testing rules, and G17 being good sports, fixed up the buggy release a little and actually allowed it out in public rather than covering it up.

That sounds about right, but how exactly did you obtain this information? I think they might release it, otherwise they are just trolling us with all the preview videos.
