To add to what Reddington has already said, there have never been so many options to add customizations (not to mention the huge selection of mods and plugins), available to players, as there are now.

Do you think LSPDFR is gonna die, Since Alb01125 has decided to stop updating his mods?

@jsutton Why do you say that? LSPDFR is boring right now by itself

Let me refer you to Bejoljo, who is pretty much the upgraded albo - https://bejoijo256.wixsite.com/bejoijo

His mods do the exact same thing as Albo's.  The only mod that has yet to be recreated is PoliceSmartRadio, which right now still works fine for me.

Bare in mind the following:

1)   LSPDFR is not meant to be the all in one feature mod.  The center of this community is letting others make mods that expand on LSPDFR, such as callouts, scenarios, etc.  LSPDFR devs want the community to enhance LSPDFR. While LSPDFR by itself might not have everything we all like, it's still playable - just not to everyone's preference.

2) Without LSPDFR, none of these other LSPDFR specific plugins would exist.

3) I don't know if you missed the banner, but 0.4.4 of LSPDFR was released Sunday.  Hardly a mod that's gonna die when the devs are still actively working on it.

4) Finally, the LSPDFR community itself is still going strong.  The demand for this mod will always be there, regardless what variation it comes in.  (new GTA games, new names, etc)

To add to what Reddington has already said, there have never been so many options to add customizations (not to mention the huge selection of mods and plugins), available to players, as there are now...

Furthermore, as good as Albo was, he isn't the only good developer that has ever created (or does create) plugins for LSPDFR.

I agree with the one above, I doubt very seriously that LSPDFR will die ANY time soon. Yeah, A few people left because of the crap thats been going on with R* but there is still loads of people playing. is albo's scripts where to break, someone will make a new one that is based of the same premise of albo's stuff.

@Reddington It was for everyone to debate not just me So this bejoljo is his mods compatible with the newest lspdfr? And albos mods are no longer compatible right

But you will still need TrafficPolicer at least.

My recommended setup:

  • Stop The Ped
  • Ultimate Backup
  • Traffic Policer
  • PoliceSmartRadio
  • Interaction+
  • CompuLite

@Pazzi traffic policer still works for the newest lspdfr? I thought he stopped updating it

It still works. There's only a warning that the LSPDFR version is newer.

My thoughts on this topic are as follows:
1. LSPDFR by itself is just the base mod. If it is boring to you, add plugins and callouts to make it more diverse.
2. Just because Albo isn't doing updates anymore doesn't mean it kills an entire community. His mods are open-sourced for people to work on themselves. It isn't like they are gone forever. And like Reddington said, Bejoljo has similar mods to what Albo had so there are alternatives out there.
3. Finally, as for the community itself dying, if you take a look at the support section, there are still a lot of cases coming in each day. Which means that people are still playing LSPDFR.

At the end of the day, if people wish to leave a community, that is their choice. But I don't think it will cause the downfall of a community.

I don''t think so, maybe other people will continue to update his mods since they're open-source

The only way I see LSPDFR dying is if the community itself kills it. The moderators in my opinion have recognized this potential risk and you can see the active effort they show whenever you scroll down to leave a comment you see a warning to not leave toxic comments. In short, no I don't think it will die.
