I think you're talking about the RPH crash log. You need to post your RagePluginHook Log, which you can find in your main GTA V directory. It will be labeled RAGEPLUGINHOOK and should be a text document.

Ah okay my bad. I’ll do that next chance I get, probably later today. I’m still kinda new to all this haha.

  • Mine is already maxed out haha, so no that’s not it sadly. Everything was smoothe until I updated lspdfr. Everything else works, eup, all my cars, the police tape mod. Only thing not working is LSPDFR

  • Did you guys "update" through OPEN IV? If you open OPEN IV, it should tell you to update on top. Don't remember exactly what is said but something along the lines.

I hate to constantly barrage this, but I’m guessing no ones figured this out yet?

Here’s one of my logs, no other plugins except eup menu and lspdfr. Eup works perfect, all my cars are fine, the rest of the game runs perfect.

I'm no testing team or anything but I don't think there is a definitive solution for this. Everyone seems to have this error because of multiple different reasons. Some of those are easy to solve but not all, at least for me. You could either wait to see what any of the testing team member would say but best solution I have seen other people to do is reinstall everything from scratch. And if that doesn't work, that most likely means you did something wrong or didn't install everything. I'm sorry if I couldn't be more of a help.

Thanks for that I might have to try it.

Yea I know. I didn’t alter anything besides updating it, and it started. That’s why I had hoped for a solution other than reinstall everything but I’m losing hope haha.

Alrighty folks I found a fix but sadly I have a bit of bad news. Some people I’ve talked to, like the very helpful and amazing YouTuber Mr. @OfficerBenzo, deleting your mods folder and creating a new one worked, but sadly for some reason this did not work for me. So if you’ve tried this and are still having this issue I’ll tell you what I did.

I moved my mods folder to my desktop, along with els, plugins, and all the other stuff of LSPDFR relation, redownloaded GTA, and then did a fresh MANUEL install of LSPDFR. The automatic installer refused to work for me for some reason.

After getting it to work, I added my plugins folder and was able to run the game, though had to update a few of the plugins. I managed to be able to salvage a lot of my cars from my old mods folder, making a fresh clean one in my new game, and after adding one thing by one thing, I think I found our problem.

I was able to overwrite my new PatchDay20 with the ones from my old mods folder, getting back all my cars in there. However when I went to install mods such as “updated lspd cop” or “improved SAHP ped”, I got the protected memory error. I have yet to try and put my addon vehicles back in, but the problem seems to be with replacing police peds, for some odd reason.

EDIT: Also causing it when adding addons. But everything else works fine.

EDIT 2: was able to readd peds, and 2 addons, but when I try and install the third my game crashes. But as far as the peds you can still have them, just remove and reinstall.

If anyone finds a way around this or can improve upon my discovery, let me know. I hope this helped at least someone.

I just ran into this problem myself. It's quite fustrating

From everything I found, the new update caused problems with addons. Some of mine worked, some didn’t. Try pulling out all addons, and add them back until you find one that doesn’t work. I know it’s frustrating but that’s what I did.

Hmmm interesting. I was using 0.4.2 and soon as i upgraded to 0.4.3 it solved my problem.

It’s probably like someone said before, it’s probably just some small little thing that’s different for everyone, that’s why it’s so hard to track down.

I just fully re-instaled the game and it seems to have worked, now its time to go and add all my mods and cars back 1 for 1 to see which ones break the game. Thanks to everyone in this thread for trying to help. And for everyone still having this problem, i think it really is a full re-install of your game, make sure you completely delete the GTA 5 folder from your library and then it should work. What i noticed is that if you delete it through Steam ( becuase i have it on steam) it will still leave the LSPDFR files in the folder. Again thanks to everyone for their help.

Also have a nice day and good luck to everyone

What I now believe it was, is that with the new update, we began to reach our limit of what the game could handle. Here’s a very up to date, can-handle-everything-you-need game config from the guy that made RDE, since plugging this in, my games gone back to how it was before, with the same amount of mods, cars, and peds. This should take care of it all.
