Just a heads up, I really like this mod. It's the only one that works for me when using high quality car packs.

However, I hate being limited to only 20 vehicles.

Why only 20? I'm forced to only see less than 1/5 of all the available cars because the game never touches any of the vehicles outside of the pool.

From doing a bit of digging, there should be 120+ regular vehicles in GTA IV. If the pool could be expanded to cover most of that, it would make the game much more realistic.

BTW, I figured out that you can make multiple copies of the .dll and .ini in the script folder. This way you can program each .ini with different vehicles.

However, whenever you have more than 2 .ini's, despite how you set the update interval, the game will eventually crash. I suspect this is because you cannot have too many .ini's accessing the game's memory at once.

Hopefully the author of this mod can take a look. If a much larger pool could be made into the next version, we'd have a 100% guaranteed fix for all the car mods out there. Or you could even have multiple pools of 20 within one .ini and let the user pick if the pools will be read in sequence or random selected.

I use Traffic Flow to spawn the cars you would see most in NYC (LC) and responding emergency vehicles and Traffic Control to spawn buses and write random cars to the memory. That's probably the best solution, at least for me.

I'll give that a try but when I tested Traffic Control System on its own, it did very little to nothing for me. If anything, it'll make cars pop out and disappear randomly right in front of me.

Are you saying that Traffic Flow's writing to memory gets affected by TCS?

i used Traffic Control System before i found Traffic Flow.

My problem was. It gave me a texture bug. The textures loaded very slow and sometimes they did not appear at all.

I don't have this kind of problem with traffic flow.

This mod is actually really good i gotta say. I was bored of the massive fleet of taxis everywhere (And they're fkn criminals lol, most of the time). But i had a version that had in the ini something that said :

Dispatches*

*Put the quantity of random dispatches that you want in town.

And i think it was v5R2 or something like that, but deleted it... Anyone?

What an awesome mod, an actual fix for the taxi bug that doesn't involve deleting and spawning cars. They said this bug couldn't be fixed, they were wrong...absolutely brilliant.

Here's a question. With the way 0.95 has random events and emergency vehicles responding to ACTUAL incidents, is there a way to completely deactivate the emergency dispatches in Traffic Flow? It seems that these dispatches contribute to game slow down and eventual crashes. I suppose you could just set the variable to a million or something. Also, please please please, expand the vehicle pool to included all vehicles in the game, variety is the spice of life you know =P
