First it was Rockstar updating non stop, now its LSPDFR  , sorry team but Just when all the plugin developers catch up and weve lost a ton or them , weve lost herocop,( the best k9 dog), weve lost the heli mod, coastal callouts takes a while to catch up, peter U is now not working and that was just updated, yesterday I played flawlessly after working on finding a bad texture for a car only took me 2 weeks, now 4.2 is crashing everything,  Ive had errors in 3 callout packs including stop the ped which Ive never had ever , peter U wont work at at all and It feels like the community is weakening. Less and less talented coders are making mods and the good ones like Belojio thank God!!! Why cant we stay put for a while , I understand bugs but it was at least nice to play, now its waiting time again, sorry

Hopefully I'm not coming off as rude here but if you have callouts that are incompatible with 0.4.2, you are always free to revert back to 0.4.1 or an even older version of LSPDFR, if you have hopefully saved those older versions. Rockstar in comparison don't even let you downgrade versions that easily and blocking updates to the game is quite cumbersome.

You will, however, have to decide if you want your incompatible callouts to work, or if you want the new features and bug fixes of LSPDFR 0.4.2

Herocop - I believe StopThePed and UltimateBackup allows you to drag bodies and have a partner, but if Herocop does function better, please feel free to mention that. With regards to K9 dogs, K9 Partner, a mod by NoNameSet, does just that, but again, if there are differences, let me know. Just be advised however that the mod is currently incompatible with LSPDFR 0.4.2 at the moment but the author has acknowledged he will update it soon.

HeliMod - Is this the Heli Orbit Plugin? In my opinion, and you might disagree, LSPDFR 0.4's way of handling how the air unit behaves is already good.

If you also have errors, it would help to upload your RagePluginHook log for everyone to see so maybe people who have the issues you're describing will be able to confirm it with you and people here on the forum can help you out. 🙂

Nighthalk, I have tried the K9 mod and it is a fantastic mod...Yes well done. NoNameSet -Great modder. It doesnt have the simplicity that herocop had and ease of use. yes heliorbit,  am, I missing something, can you have the helicopter in .4 view the entire area on the ground and even view yourself from above? I havent seen that if so please guide me. I am gonna wait for all the rage logs as I can clearly see the errors , the mods just need to be updated . I worked so hard to get my game as it was with 4.1 and I didnt crash at all!!!! yesterday. Haha  I installed .4.2 today and its a mess,  lmao sorry for the frustration

Sorry, what do you mean by have the helicopter view the area on the ground and view yourself? Apologies if I'm not understanding this.

It is annoying that every time there is a new update, some scripts and stuff will crash and you have to dig through content and make sure everything is up to date before you start playing but honestly, it's something to come to expect with today's post-release patch culture and I doubt this and LSPDFR will be the only victims of this. As for now, if plugin compatibility is janky, it's either you stick to the earlier version or wait until the plugins become compatible with the latest patch; it's not even three days since 0.4.3 was released so be patient if developers for these plugins are still active.

Firstly, LSPDFR is the framework that other devs apply their mods to. It's up to the devs to keep their mods up-to-date. Sadly some devs retire or lose interest so we lose out on some great things. As annoying as that may be, this isn't a reason to avoid updating LSPDFR any further.

I mentioned the hotfix for PeterUCallouts already. That will fix your issues there.

Why did you spend two weeks looking for a bad texture..?

STP isn't a callout pack. As for the others, have you reported the issues to the authors and supplied your log? Without this, they can't fix anything.

I'd disagree that the community is weakening however you're entitled to your opinion.

Lastly, you don't need to update to 0.4.2. Stick with 0.4 or 0.4.1 until things catch up. If your game was flawless, why upgrade

I'm the same. I use over 80 plugins and have a stable game. 0.4.2 came along and now somethings don't work. Stick with 0.4.1 until everything catches up. Nothing gained. Nothing lost.

I agree, but I think you mean 0.4.2 😉

No I get it , LostBoyLazarus , dont mean to sound hostile,  I needed to chase a texture that literally was crashing the game solid with nothing in the ragereport , I requested help , no one could identify it anyway found it and it was great. I would love to go back to .4.1 but how?  I read its discontinued for .4.2?

I just want to get some clarification, are some plugins namely Heliorbit no longer working due to GTA updates or LSPFR updates or both?  Yes of course you can always rollback LSPDFR updates if you have older versions, hell I even considered going back to 3.1 if it will preserve plugins like Heliorbit, but as you all know it's not so simple when it comes to GTA Updates at least older versions, sure you can always rollback via RPH but will that even solve the issue?
