I have a problem, the NPC always have a false ID.
If I stop a vehicle and the name does not match the vehicle owner.

Example:
Stopped Person, Name: Taylor Parker.
Vehicle Holder: Brandon Smith.
And again and again, it is not reported as stolen.

It's not a problem, per se, they could have legitimately borrowed the car from the owner, or simply failed to register it after a sale.

 

I do see a niche a plugin could fill, where you or dispatch could attempt to contact the owner just to verify it wasn't stolen, but otherwise you could always just assume everything's legitimate if the vehicle isn't flagged.

That's weird to be honest. 1 non-owner out of 3 vehicles is okay, but always a non-owner driver isn't. Do you use Police SmartRadio for plate checks by the way?

My question is this, does the vehicle stopped have a passenger in it? I’ve been seeing a lot of passengers as the registered owner of the vehicle I stop.

No, I only played with LSPDFR once. And once with LSPDFR +, and Computer +. Not yet with another mod / plugin.
