0.4.1 Stable List (with links, authors & video demos)

I had a hard time finding the right combinaison of mods to get no issue, but with your list I finally found it, thanks you!

I only have 2 issues that are probably not solvable.

1-After a long period of play time (1h30-2h) sometimes the textures start to poppin and I believe that it is caused by the User music that I added, anything about that?

2-Some callouts who required Y presses to open the overlay overlap with Interaction+, any ways to solve this?

Also, I don't know how to use the speedometer because apparently one of the mod has one but I never found it.

Thanks again for your list and I hope you keep it updated!

No worries! Your .ini is pretty damn cool too, by the way👍🤩 And thanks for sharing the love with Jurisdictions+ from @TreadRed😊

  • Correct, testing a mod in a stable environment is not a way to tell if its outdated or not working properly.....    Wut?   Even if the crashes were magically made up by sssneaky, j

Texture loss is caused by high resolution vehicles most of the time. Shouldn't have anything to do with music.
I've changed keys in the spoilers and if it's still conflicting then just change the key to X.
Speedometer I use is the one from the trainer, details in the spoiler.

Well I only installed the mods in your list, which is why I wonder why it's happening. Is it linked to my graphic settings? My graphic card should be powerful enough and it's not like I have many vehicles since I only have the one you suggested.

Added Interstate 1 Remastered.
Tested for 2 hours with latest updates to STP, UB, Interaction+ & ClearTheWayV. No crashes, games running perfectly smooth.

Also added but not fully tested yet More Robberies by @xIconikkx

I don't know. I don't have ever texture loss problems. You must have installed something extra or something wrong perhaps. Only time I had texture loss problems was when I was running a modded police vehicle that had 4k textures.

I've done a lot (too much) research into this when I was having the problem. The main source of the issue is your graphical texture settings. I downgraded to Normal settings and have never seen texture loss again, sadly, it does send your texture quality back to the stone age. But the main hardware reason is not your GPU ( I have a GTX 1080). It's your RAM and harddrive. Firstly though, downgrade all the liveries to 2K, this is the big source of problems with texture loss because mod authors think 4K liveries are a selling point somehow with zero to none visual improvement (how do you even run LSPDFR stable at 4K lol).

I have old 16gb of DDR3 800mHz RAM, people with 16gb+ DDR4 with higher mHz RAM will run into a lot less/no texture loss issues.

Mod it until you break it.

wow... your ram is very old. no wonder....

i have 3000MHz RAM and GTX1070.. i had texture loss when the "preload all model" flag set to True... but everything's fine when i set it to false...

my only issue is the FPS because i cannot get stable 60FPS like i had on LSPDFR 0.3... perhaps i'll upgrade my GPU to GTX1080...

LSPDFR needs to be updated with optimization in mind. Has nothing to do with your GPU bro. 1070 should be beasty enough. GTA normal runs at over 100fps for me with a 970 so..

hi mate... yeah that's true... btw. do you have any recommendation with GTAV v-sync settings for frames smoothness?

I have had good luck with texture loss overall, but i found that using dilapidated's gameconfig generally helps the game with most issues of cars and texture loss. Beyond that - my game is now refusing to launch and I don't know what I did to it, so I am rebuilding it with stability in mind, I want to thank you sssneaky for making the list so I can get things running a little faster and smoother.

Best of luck to you man. Just take your time and do one thing at a time and you'll eventually have a beast of a mod to play.

I used this thread cause I have a 970. Maybe build your graphics off of this. But this is for normal GTA without any modding. When I am playing LSPDFR I used v-sync as well but all my settings were basically the lowest apart from Textures, PostFX and Shaders. When playing normal GTA with v-sync on it makes the game sooooooooo buttery smooth.

Yo i have a 1050ti as graphics card and Ryzen 2200 but my game runs slow af (30fps max) compared to your videos and i don't even have any ENBs installed. How do you make your game run so smooth? (Only goes down to 30fps when i run LSPDFR, without LSPDFR i get between 50-80 fps

Hey man, I really appreciate you making the list, I use it very frequently when messing with files.

Just a bit of feedback, some of the visual mods overlap and cause my game to crash on startup. I guess I suggest putting up a warning in case of idiots like me 😛

One other thing, I'm pretty new to vehicle models/textures stuff and I guess a bit more explanation on if the vehicle mods you show are actually required or just for preference. Same thing goes with a lot of things on this list, come to think of it.

Don't mean any of this in a toxic way, I'm just trying to be constructive. This post is awesome and has saved me hours of time. Thank you.

Man, such a helpful post. I'm a returning player and honestly I was stumped by how hard it was to make everything works. My usual mods were shitting the bed at every turn and couldn't figure it out. Thanks so much!

When I regain interest in the mod I will probably do this. I haven't done any kind of forum post or tutorial before so I have lots of room to learn, thanks for your suggestions and glad I could save you time with a mod list!

Maybe your 3d settings are default and not utilizing your cards max potential.

Try going into

Nvidia Control Panel >

Manage 3D settings >

Set Optimize Compute Performance: On
Power Management Mode: Prefer Maximum Performance
Texture Filtering Quality: High Performance
Threaded Optimization: On

In game settings is like on the list:
Shaders: High
PostFX: Ultra
Particle FX: Very High
Everything else on lowest possible.

Use "Cleanworld" in console when it get's choppy from to many entities nearby.

I see you included Traffic Policer in the list. It's the only mod that's giving me trouble right now. It's throwing a "required audio files missing" at me but after checking the files were there and where they are supposed to be, redownloading the mod and redownloading the entire game it's still fucked. I wonder if you have any solution to that?

Edited by Enearde

I installed just as you did and I still have suspect vehicles ramming multiple road blocks, driving after spike strips and getting rammed. I am highly confident they are installed correctly.

Spoiler

I installed these five in this order!

Vehicle Handling V; I install the optional backfire sfx & offroad traction as well.

AI TRAFFIC Fluidity & Discipline by @RCrw notik; Don't touch the vehicles.meta stuff, just change the AI configs.

Better Advanced Meta by @Darkmyre

…………..Any other options?

try to install "Vehicle damage" mod... the pursuit vehicle will sustain realistic damage when ramming other vehicles which increase the possibility for the suspect to surrender..

in my opinion it will make the pursuit more realistic

Nice list.  I'm at a point where mine is the most stable it's ever been with maybe 2/3 of your mods. Bern just building my custom jurisdictions and departments' fleet for about 2 weeks now. Going for immersion on my vehicle textures.

I know all about low spec.

You must have installed them in the incorrect location then. I haven't played this mod in a couple weeks now so I'm not sure if everything in this list still works at 100%

Do you seem to have increased coronas at night with city lights and all the visual mods?

All headlights and streetlamp have vertical or horizontal glare/coronas.

I kinda like it cause it looks very realistic but I'm wondering if it's too much.
