The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

LSPDFR plugin won't load

Featured Replies

I am using a legal copy of GTA V with the latest RPH installed from their site (https://ragepluginhook.net/Downloads.aspx?Category=1 version 0.64)

The game works fine so far.

I have downloaded the zip file containing the plugins and RPH and took out the plugins folder and lspdfr folder, placing them in my game folder.

When I start the game it seems to load without the plugin (although all plugins should load according to RPH settings).

I tried typing the load command in the console but it gave me an error message -

Loading plugin from path: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins\LSPD First Response.dll

I downloaded RPH first and then dragged the LSPDFR and plugins folders into the game folder.

I tried using the LSPDFR installer aswell but that resulted in the same outcome.

LSPDFR comes with an outdtaed version of RPH. If you install LSPDFR first followed by RPH it will overwrite any outdated RPH files with the latest ones. Also i find that setting RPH to load only LSPDFR at startup as opposed to all plugins can help.

Thanks, but I have already tried doing that, and I am using an up-to-date version of RPH

Hello,

Can you please post screenshot of your plugins folder and LSPDFR folder inside the plugins folder.

Thanks!

Wait. am I really that dumb? I placed the LSPDFR folder in the game folder, outside the plugin folder. I'm gonna try that right now and if it doesn't work ill take the screenshots.

update - it didn't work, screenshots are attached.

Woah, those lspdfr files aren't suppose to be in the Plugins folder. At least mine aren't so I'm pretty sure that's the problem. Try moving the entire folder right there called lspdfr into your main directory and see if that does anything!

It used to be in the main directory, then I moved it from the main folder into the plugins folder, it didn't work in both cases but ill try again anyway.

Unfortunately a lot of people are having issues right now, my best guess would still be that something isn't where it's suppose to be. At least judging from your post..

I had the same problem before the 0.4 update, maybe if you could take a picture of your folders I could compare the two and find the problem, (please).

There are tons of videos on how to install LSPDFR 0.4, as long as you follow one of those it will most likely work

Hello, i had similar situation, couldn't figure out y it wouldn't hook, i've installed as it should be, had clean install of gta5, lspdfr 0.4 and rage hook to latest. lspdfr just wouldn't load after starting rage...anyway what worked for me was in ragehook game settings-> command line switches->...i selected force DirectX11 and Force Windowed Mode-> Saved and Launch. Well that worked for me instantly, lspdfr loaded as it should, happy days.

Looking at your folder/files  "steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\Plugins" compared to mine i only have 2 files inside it- "LSPD First Response.dll and LSPD First Response.pdb"...lspdfr folder shouldn't be inside it at all.

Thanks, ill try it, and I fixed the plugins folder, I just thought that maybe placing LSPDFR in there would change anything, coz the log said it can't locate the file.
Anyway, I reinstalled the game so maybe this will help, reinstalling RPH from their site, and placing the LSPDFR folder in the main directory, and placing the Plugins folder in the main directory (containing the 2 files only).

update - still the same problem

Can anyone somehow send me their lspdfr and plugins folders, might help?

Gmail is " guymorad310@gmail.com "

you can do it using google drive since Gmail doesn't allow sending zip files.
