Foot Pursuit?

Featured Replies

Hi there, fellow cops.
So, basically, i love the new update as much as i love foot pursuits. And i love them very much. But the player's speed is much more slower than average Crime Joe. Or equal to his. So there is pretty much no way to catch the criminal without using a gun or taser. Is there any... mods or new features that can help me? "Foot Pursuit Aid", as much as i know, not working anymore. Thanks.

Hey-ho, you are under arrest, bro.

Criminals are gradually slowed down with a certain degree of randomness, so usually it pays off to just be patient. If you want to tweak this behavior, you can add the following settings for your ini and tweak them. The first specifies how often the suspect gets exhausted whereas the second specifies the duration they are exhausted.

Chase.ExhaustionInterval = 25000

Chase.ExhaustionDuration = 30000

I totally agree Foot Pursuit Aid is a must, I chased two suspects yesterday for a good distance before subduing them, hopefully the new updates works for me.

I would definitely have to agree.

Use StopThePed in combination with a Trainer with unlimited stamina. STP has a boost feature which allows you to sprint for a small amount of time when hitting a key, you can also tweak this setting inside of the .ini. You can also tackle with the same plugin. Then you hold E on them and stop them. Check out my thread for TrainerV and settings for unlimited stamina on load up and links provided!

use Stop The Ped and hit "enter" key while you're running/chasing the ped. It will boost your speed for 3 seconds. i think we can also configure the duration and boost intensity in the ini file.
