  • I've been working with @zombieguy over the past few days to try to narrow down the issue as it seems to only happen for a very limited number of people, but on very different systems (so not necessari

  • Well..without LSPDFR I get 25/30 fps, With LSPDFR I get between 5 and 10 xD  But my pc is a potato : AMD A8-7410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics  2.20Gh up to 2.6Ghz    8GB DDR3  😂

  • yes we shouldnt have to disable cool features like that so hopefully they will release a small update to fix some of these issues

my specs has noting to do with these issues. trust me

You got that right its an issue with Lspdfr itself.

yes they say plugins may cause it but old lspdfr worked all fine.

exactly so this is on them there has to be a patch soon like 0.4.1 not everyone has this issue so for people like us we need a patch.

They probably are already working on a patch. For now though to help even a little you can try turning down or off settings that affect the CPU, for GTA turn down render distance, population variety, density and disable all extended settings. For LSPDFR try running the following configs in the INI file:

Networking.DisableServerCommunication = True
Networking.DisableDiscordRichPresence = True
Main.DisableAmbientScriptHooks = True
AmbientSpawn.MaxCopsInArea = 0
WorldEvents.IntervalMultiplier = 0.0f
Ambient.DisableAmbientGameCopSpawnBlock = false
AmbientSpawn.MaxCopsInArea = 0

Afterward, try disabling debug logs being created to free up the IO overhead by typing "IsDeveloperModeEnabled true" then right clicking the V logo in your desktop tray and setting logging verbosity to none. Then make sure to type "IsDeveloperModeEnabled false" afterward.

All of these combined makes me run much more stable on duty and slightly better when doing a pursuit.

rather wait for a official fix just a little isnt enough for me tho maybe for others

 I know me putting my input in here isn't really going to help anything out but I'm going to share my FPS and specs anyway.

 FPS test during day/Afternoon on Sandy Shores Runway. All at same time, weather, and on or next to Sandy Shores Runway. (Avg. is just the general area where the fps would stay at, not an exact average of the fps)

FPS without LSPDFR loaded: 61-112 fps. Avg. 75 fps

With LSPDFR loaded: 61-78 fps. Avg. 68 fps

On Duty (on foot): 51-71 fps. Avg. 60 fps

On Duty (in stock gta police car): 50-68 fps. Avg. 60 fps

On Duty (ELS police car): 43-60 fps. Avg. 50 fps

In Pursuit (2-5 police backup in stock gta cars): 50-63 fps. Avg. 55 fps

In Pursuit (2-5 police backup in ELS cars): 43-58 fps. Avg. 53 fps

In conclusion: I lost 8-20 fps when I load LSPDFR, around 8 fps when I go on duty, 1-2 fps on duty in stock police cars, 10 fps in ELS vehicles over stock police cars, and 3-5 fps in a pursuit when using ELS vehicles over stock. Sometimes I will get random frame drops while patrolling bringing me down to 30 fps but these only happen once every 5-10 minutes.

 My Computer Specs: i7-7700k intel processor, RTX 2070 8GB DDR6, 16GB DDR4 of ram, and I'm operating on Windows 10.

 I know my cpu isn't that good for GTA V but it is still able to run it alright at max settings 1080p which I used to test the fps earlier. Hopefully some of my info will be helpful in someway or another. If you want anymore information like my exact GTA V graphic settings or other stuff don't be afraid to ask. I'm really enjoying LSPDFR 0.4 so far and my only problems that annoy me at the moment would have to be when you install Computer+, LSPDFR will crash if you ask a pedestrian for their ID. Stop The Ped is really buggy/crashes a lot. So I'm not able to do breathalyzer tests, call to truck, etc.

You are getting much better results than I am.

I get a frame rate drop of at least 40 between GTA V with no LSPDFR running and being on duty with LSPDFR (absolutely no other mods or plugins - completely clean install).

I am watching this thread closely and have tried all suggestions so far which haven't made any real difference. It is still playable with LSPDFR running (about 40fps) but it doesn't leave me with much headroom to install other plugins and vehicles which I hoped to do.

Yeah I'm a bit surprised on how slow GTA V is on my pc but GTA V is more reliant on your cpu than anything else. I would recommend looking up the best graphic settings for your specs. If you want I can upload a screenshot of my own to see if that helps.

Don't know what you mean about your CPU mate, its only 2 years old and definitely more powerful than mines. GTA loves an Intel CPU with a high clock rate. Are you bottlenecked by your GPU or CPU with your current settings? With rage loaded and not LSPDFR I even run around the same FPS, although I tend to test in the city since its more CPU demanding.

I'm not sure if you're talking to me or to Bing Z. I believe my botleneck is more likely to be my CPU sadly. It still doesn't explain the ~40fps drop from GTA to LSPDFR though.

Yeah I was talking about bling but it applies to anyone, I'm cpu bottlenecked too and also get a similar drop in performance.

I have the same problem, and I see that the most in objects rendering (loads late...) and fps drops.
Also, as one that always keeps track of the CPU in the task manager, I can say that in 0.3 my CPU was on average 40%, and in 0.4 it's on 70%.

I guess there's some resource issue, probably with the new AI as some of you mentioned before...

I don't think that the specs really matter, but if you really want...:

I7-9700k
EVGA RTX-2070

32RAM DDR4

And my GTA V is running on the SSD, if some1 really cares...

Yep definetly seems to be a bug causing this, your specs are a beast. Do you have a fresh install and never Installed over 0.3?

I haven't had any fps issues, if anything 0.4 improved my FPS however something is pulling resources and depriving me of textures. When I am off duty I have the best quality but once I go on duty and choose my vehicle I get popping textures and what I mean by that is if I look behind me (pressing C) the textures pop . I have went through almost a dozen car packs trying to see if it was a 4k/2k livery thing and it wasn't the issue. I can only assume that LSPDFR 0.4 is pulling some type of resource not unless something with preloading peds has to do with it.
