Gutted that Albos mods arn't working at the moment. Computer+ and the SmartRadio absolutely added to LSPDFR. If Albos isn't willing to pick them back up we sort of need to get his permission to convert them. 

All, add Albo's latest albo1125.common.dll from updated Assorted Callouts and they will work. Currently using Computer+ on 0.4 😄

 

Edit: Plugin loaded and interface works but game crashed, so disregard..

computer + doesnt work, how did you even get it to run? albocommon has nothing to do with that mod

JT it works, but as you go to look up a car or ped file it crashes the game entirely.

yeahhh, that means its not compatible with 4

Sad Really. I'm also not sure how to bring up the radio is game atm for 4! 

What visual mod is everyone using for LSPDFR 0.4 ? There is NVR (oct 2018) then there is Redux 1.6, I definitely want to know if anyone has any of the listed installed, and, any issues so far with the particular visual mods? Thanks..... 👍

I'm currently running NVR without any issues as of yet, though I haven't had a ton of time to play. If NVR causes any issues I'll edit this post with that.

 

So far I'm really enjoying 0.4. The first thing I noticed was that it seems like traffic stops have been refined quite a bit. In 0.3 the AI would just scoot over a couple feet and basically stop in the middle of the road. Every car I've stopped so far (albeit only a few) have pulled all the way over or even onto the sidewalk just a little, which I feel is way more realistic and safe for players- less likely to get hit by a car.

 

In terms of addons I've gotten ELS, EUP, NVR, SimpleFootControls, some custom vehicle models, and custom weapon models working without a hitch. I might also give some of Albo's mods a try just to see if any of them work, it seems like there's been mixed success with other people. Mostly I'd just like to have Computer+ and Smart Radio back, maybe Traffic Policer as well.

 

Been experiencing some performance loss even when just running LSPDFR on its own, so I don't think it's the mods doing it. My old system ran 0.3 fairly smoothly so I'm trying to figure out what's causing the FPS hit.

 

Aside from that, loving everything in 0.4!

Like I said in the other topic, the biggest issue for me is performance. I'm getting around 22~24 fps when patrolling and 14 fps in a callout, but using only LSPDFR Vanilla (removed other plugins to test). With 0.3, with a lot of plugins, more traffic mod and stuff, I would get around 30/35 fps patrolling and 25 with a callout.

 

My PC config is: i7 950, 16Gb RAM, GTX 1060 6Gb.

 

Some other quality of life observations are:

- Would be interesting to add RB/LB ( L1/L2) to cycle trough textures when creating a outfit. That's how it worked in EUP Menu and I'm used to that way ( and I guess everyone else too);
-If possible, add "Window Tint" in the vehicle mod menu at the garage!

I'm in the process of testing so much stuff I have barely actually played 0.4 itself to test the new features and such. I am very excited and grateful for a LSPDFR update and can only hope that the pathway to 0.5 is already being worked on. I can only dream maybe in some years we can achieve near perfection with a 1.0 release and by then the downloadable plugins and call outs from the community will be in the HUNDREDS. LSPDFR could have a bright future if development is still continuing down the road. However a little funny thing happened to me playing after a little while just goofing around. Anyone else getting an odd issue with random pursuit vehicles exploding lol?. Just random and puts " X " on the map where red suspect dot was and legend just says " Dead ". Have to force end the callout after it happens. I may document it and create a support thread if I continue to see it occurring.

Computer+ is out guys and girls 😄 😄

I am enjoying .04, but the "grab ped" (with E) is driving me crazy.  I keep trying to walk up to the ped to grab and they'll turn to face me or just start walking off in random directions.  Sometimes it seems like they go into a follow mode that wont end and you can't "grab" them out of. 

 

Could just be me, but it is frustrating regardless.

Would you be able to find out what is causing my crash?
