gtaiv: cannot tab out and then back in - leads to a crash

Featured Replies

hi, if i am playing GTA IV, and if i need to tab out for a second to check something, if i try to tab back in, it will make my game unresponsive 4outof5 times :/

Is there anyway to fix this please?

That's what happens with a lot of games. Pausing the game (pressing esc) before you alt-tab should help.

k thanks, il try it out :D

If you pause and tab out, it's hit or miss when you return to it. Sometimes it wont crash some times it will, Least that is what happens with me

I use a program called Overwolf when I'm playing GTA. Overwolf gives me internet browser access and full Teamspeak 3 functionality within GTA so no need to Alt Tab out.
