Disable Police in Traffic

Featured Replies

When I play LCPDFR and I get into a car chase, I literally have cop cars coming at me from all directions, and they really get in my way.

So, is it possible to disable police cars from spawning in traffic?

you could get a trainer? i think SNT can disable it

I looked through the SNT menu and didn't see anything about disabling police from spawning.

Do you think that there might be something in one of GTA IV's common/data files?

Popcycle.dat, under commondata does have two columns, PercCopCars and PercCopPed that may affect cop spawning. I've never experimented with it. If you decide to change it, you will have to edit over 100 lines of data. It's a pain. (This file is also useful in changing who spawns in what areas).

I use the Traffic Flow mod and never had the problem with cops coming from all over the place. Maybe you can try that mod and see if it helps.

If I've helped you in anyway, Give me some Reputation in return Sierra10-8 Clan is a clan that sticks together and play many games together, our number one being LCPDFR. Other games we support are Bad Company 2, Swat 4, and Fallen Earth. Come join us for some fun!

LCPDFR internally spawns vehicles and assigns them to active chases. This isn't a behaviour you can change yet.

Isn't there an option to disable random units joining pursuits? Not on my GTA system at the moment so I'm not sure.
