Cops mistakenly shoot at actor during movie scene

You film a movie that has a guy with a mask and a gun entering a building but don't inform law enforcement or ANY of the nearby business?  Would've been totally justified had that bullet hit him.

If you put the video in slow mode, you can see the guy raises the gun while he's trying to lift off his ski mask.  Are you stupid?  Seriously, WHY would you do that?    What I'm also curious of that the video makes difficult to see, how did the officer miss?  Did the guy move his head last second, or was the officer a poor shot?

This could've been avoided had the company used common sense and informed law enforcement, and had this idiot dropped the gun immediately.  After that it would've taken a few minutes at most for officers to discover it was for a movie.

Contrary to popular belief, it really is not that easy to hit a target. Real life is nothing like the movies or video games, and shooting someone in a real life situation is completely different than shooting a target at the range. Otherwise everyone would only ever shoot one bullet, and fully automatic machine guns wouldn't even be necessary for the military. I've only been shooting once and, although a cop that was with us said I was pretty good, I'm no expert, but all the police shootings where multiple officers fired multiple shots and the suspect only ended up with one or two bullet wounds probably backs me up.

Stress shooting is different from target shooting. The second you actually get ready to pull the trigger for real your body dumps a ton of hormones into your system like adrenaline that can greatly reduce your accuracy. That plus the oh shit I have to shoot so I rush my fundamentals is why some shoot outs have 70-100 rounds fired and only 2-3 hits.

On the combat side of things we look at 70% of all rounds fired are to suppress the enemy. Your shooting to keep their heads down while another element moves to line up a good kill shot.
