Two Kissimmee police officers were shot Friday night and initial reports are not looking good for the officers. The suspects who shot them were able to escape.
All area law enforcement agencies are descending on the area for a massive manhunt for the gunmen. At least 70 law enforcement vehicles have been seen in Kissimmee around Main St.
No suspect information has been released at this point in time. The circumstances behind the shooting have not yet been released.
UPDATE: Both Kissimmee police officers are pronounced dead. Please pray for the families of these fallen heroes and all of the officers hunting their killers

The troopers were able to return fire and the suspect was killed, according to CBS Pittsburgh.
This shooting appears to have occurred about half an hour from two Kissimmee, FL officers getting shot, and the situation there is very grim.

For all my brothers and sisters in blue RIP

Lord, I ask for courage;
Courage to face and conquer my own fears...
Courage to take me where others will not go.
I ask for strength;
Strength of body to protect others...
Strength of spirit to lead others.
I ask dedication;
Dedication to my job to do it well...
Dedication to my community to keep it safe.
Give me, Lord, concern;
For all those who trust me...
And compassion for those who need me
And, please, Lord, through it all; be at my side.

In my mind, I'm never gonna die in no ghetto. Absolutely never. If a man turns around and punches me in the head, the fight's on. If he cuts me, the fight's on. If I'm shot, the fight is on. I am not losing no fight, to no scumbag out dere' in no ghetto. Period. That's it. No son of a bitch out there's gonna get me. The only way he gets me is to cut my head off and I mean that. I'll fight you till' I've got a breath left in me. I don't think any of those animals in that street can beat me. And I've been goin' that way for eighteen years of street service street duty, and that's the way I'm gonna keep on goin'. You don't lose the fight.

Disgraceful. I know we may be back to the gun control thing again, but even myself, a gun enthusiast, thinks that its out of control. Were they random attacks/targeted? . I don't believe in banning guns, far from it, but I think you should look at the firearm used most in these shootings and make them harder to get, ie, handguns. I really can't think why they would just be shot randomly, unless terrorism or mental health issues. And I really don't think its gonna be some ISIS attack in Pennsylvania. Which leads us to better mental health care, and locking away these assholes.

I live in Kissimmee,FL and let me tell you, The amount of Law Enforcement support from our community and our neighboring cities for our two fallen officers is amazing and overwhelming. The downtown area of the city has been turned blue to show support. We have an amusement park and shopping area outside city limits called Old Town,Famous for its Slingshot ride and it's the cities tourist attraction, The Ferris Wheel there has been lit completely blue to also show support. Blue Ribbons has also been tied around trees by residents. This shows how well the police departmen has shown professionalism and made an impact on the community. It really has impacted the city hard.

A little nice fact:

Not counting deaths by natural causes or death of a canine. The city was incorporated in 1883. Since then, The department only had 1 human life lost in the line of duty, Patrolman Thomas A. Bartholomew, Who was shot and killed after responding to a domestic Disturbance involving an armed man in 1983.
