Hey All,

Does anyone know if ELS V5 is more reliable then V6?

V6 keeps crashing even with the AI ELS disabled.

If V5 is better, anyone have a download link as gtapolicemods is "offline".

i think the only difference is ELS V5 doesnt have the "HALOGEN ONLY" mods whereas ELS V6 has it.

Thats fine cheers, looking at several other posts it doesnt look like V5 will solve it though :(

I find V5 to be more stable, that's what i use and i think ELS is very buggy as it is, you could also diable AI ELS in the ELS.ini

V5 it is. But you might want to leave everything on default settings and AI off as you'll experience less crashes .

I use V5 and I can play for hours even with AI using els. I know with v6 sometimes I could play for awhile but it seems like it crashed after 20 minutes for me.

@shawn What's up shawn, it was nice playing with you and the guys last wednesday online. I definitely would say that ELS V5 is way more stable than ELS V6. You will only get like 20 to 30 minutes of gameplay with V6, if everything is really intensive you will crash faster so you might not make it to 20 minutes. I record all of my videos will V5.

Funny how this effects others differently, I run ELS V6 on EFLC and have never had a crash relating to ELS.

Possibly because it's EFLC? I'm running GTA4 LC - it's a strange world out here lol...

I play ELSv6 with all ELS police cars + AI enabled and it never crashes. It is 100% stable at my current moment. Helicopters, SWAT, backup, all works. IDK what I did right this time but hey I'm happy.

I have a low end pc so V5 has worked much better. 6 was crashing all the time, especially if i called for noose back up. I use EFLC cause it has more cars. All set to active ELS except police, noose, fire truck, and ambulance. I also try to use the lowest poly cars I can get.

it worked, I have Diable ELS V6 and now the game is not crashing, the only time that did crash, only happend once is "an Bad Mod error".

so what's between V5 and V6, ELS v6 works 100% for me with no crases

I used to use (that grammar sounds kinda funny lol) ELS v6 but it crashes every 20 minutes for me so i got back to V5 and i didn't had a single crash since then

ELS would always crash for me at the mission where you go to the abandoned hospital to get the drugs back for Elizabetha when all the cops come after you :( v5 and v6, also i want to try and reinstall it to use it with LCPDFR but cant find V5 anymore and I know i had it one time on my system...oh well...
