The movie Righteous kill and the movie pride and glory are really good, i have both and they both revolve around the NYPD

Another enjoyable movie that hasn't been mentioned is "The town". It's a bank robber movie that features some nice pursuits with Boston PD and shoot-outs with Boston Swat and FBI.
