Hey guys,

 

i have a problem with all my cars/mods i install for lspdfr. I using RDE and have a lot of cars change. After the RHP-update i had to update my "update.rpf".  Now i cant use my modded cars and also settings from RDE, MakeVisualGreat, etc.  Is there a easy way to actived the stuff or i have to reinstall all stuff?

 

I just try to write in rde, etc in the "dlclist.xml" but it didnt work.

Unfortunately you have to reinstall everything, I'm currently in the process of doing just that. RDE isn't working for me with this new update, so you may want to hold off on reinstalling that for now.

Oh no you dont really told me that . thats pain in the a**!!! So we have to wait all is updated to version 0.51?

 

i am not a friend of older versions, cause i tried that "offline mode". but i had a few graphic bugs when i do it this way.

Only stuff that falls in the 'update.rpf" do you have to reinstall, unless you didn't use a mods folder.

I use a mods-folder. the problem is gta didnt realiced the "rde-dlcs". I also reinstalled rde and overwrite the latest folder with my older ones. Game crashes in loadingscreen. Feels hard .....

Im playing fine on game ver 944, ragehook .50 cos I made a COPY OF GAME FOLDER to mod.  <<---hint hint]]

Its called 'Grand Theft Auto V-LSPDFR', and other folder is an untouched auto-updated virgin edition of GTAV called 'Grand Theft Auto V-ONLINE'.

Whichever I want to play, I just back over the dash_________ part. get it?  then u wouldn't be going thru all this-

What I read on the FAQ's was they just really have to write a new gameconfig... I just rolled back anyway.  I don't know what I'd do without RDE anymore.

Do what i do, Use two directories (That way it eliminates the use of a mods folder so you don't have to worry about messing about with this stuff).

 

Have 1 directory for non-modded (mainly for online use.. can use this directory for backup files aswell) and have the other for mods, That way your game can update and you don't have to worry about re-modding the update.rpf or anything else. 

 

Also RDE adds cars, In order for you to use this without a crash you need a gameconfig.xml file that supports your game version they're generally released a day or two after the patch and can be on gta5-mods

I have quite a few vehicles installed.. probably way to much, but it's nice to have all of those slots.. gonna try to add another ambulance slot today, hopefully it goes well for me. haha

I also use to directories, but in i Lspdfr folder i also use a Mods-folder. Dont ask me why :D i still have. I think a just have the latest gta version.

 

Where is the different about a update.rpf in a Mods-folder and a update.rpf in a modded gta directorie? If GTA is updating both files will overwrite, right? Dont get me wrong i love this game and i love all this mods, but is so hard to rework all the files after a f*** update. I know thats not the fault of the modder, but it is frustrating!

Me too. For a unknown reason streets and houses didnt spawn when i modded rdesheriff ...... So i am not sure is there something wrong with rde or the game/computer collaps with this bunch of modded cars

Probably just your computer can't handle, all of the vehicles you put into the game.

Seems to work fine after the update for the most part. The only mods that aren't working for me seem to be Albo's mods (won't load and it'll tell you) and Code Red Callouts (crashes) I had to reinstall CHP pack and Make Visuals Great Again though

I wont open a new thread for new upcoming problem. I still work with version 944.  I just reinstalled with the tip from @CouthInk4. So now game works fine with the mods and the cars. Today the mess began.

 

I started RPH and clicked like always 2 times start offline modus. Then i clicked on my profil and start/connect. Rockstars launcher now load shortly and said "you are not connected with server" click abort or retry. Why i cant play anymore in offline mode. I unblock GTA and block again. Now the launcher said, cant start GTA. For me at means AGAIN reinstall. But i dont understand why Rockstar suddenly say i have to be online when i choose offline mode? Some know that problem and can help me pls. Send me a PN or ask for TS3 ip. Thanks
