So i downloaded RDE, only issue i have now is i don't have a clue how to install custom cars. Obviously most of the cars i was using have been overwritten, but some still remain

 

 

 

If you still have no clue on how to install cars after reading those two guides (that were on top of the support subforum page), come back on this thread and say specifically what you cannot do. Otherwise no one can help you.

I know how to install cars lol, I mean with RDE all my police cars went back to default, and are now spread out in 3 RDE vehicle folders, think i sussed it, thanks for your help :)

The process to replace the cars is exactly the same, just in different folders.

which folder are you suppose to replace them in? because i am having the same issue my mods cars dont work only the orginal gta 5 vehicles spawn not modded ones. i read the threads  and it dont tell what folder do i have to put it in?

like i m trying to install this mod

The RDE folder where all the car models are located.

where is located at though?

With all other patchday folders.

Just to make sure that I don't gump this up. Any add on cars that I install should be installed in the RDE folder for that department and not the folder that the car has in the installation instructions.....and the ELS name has to match the slot that the car is installed?

I found the RDE folder in mods/update/update.rpf/x64
