As the title suggests, this is a miscellaneous thread about this years 'Steam Winter Sale'! I want to know what you splurged on this year - what games you got out of it, and if you were happy with the steam sales/ if it was worth the wait! How much dosh did you end up throwing at the sale this year?

Personally, I was disappointed that Rust didn't come on sale, over-all the sale seemed meh for particular the items I was waiting for, but I was happy that 7 Days to Die was 60% off so I picked that up, as well as Dead Rising 3, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (One of the best of the whole series, so much nostalgia there) and Ryse Son of Rome for cheap! There's still some things on my wish list that I didn't get because I felt that they could end up being cheaper throughout the next year on a flash sale.

Actually, nothing... I buyed lot of stuff last year on the winter sale but I ended up not really playing anything of it, GTA V is still literaly the only game that I actively play, beneath some occasional Terraria or 911: First Responders sessions, I don't need anything else, lol

I got Cities Skyline and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt during the Steam Winter sale.

Merely Watch Dogs 2 and the Airborne DLC for Men of War: Assault Squad 2.

We won't talk about the amount of money i spent... That being said it was for Christmas so it's all good :D

We add all them actually good games up, and it is still less than the release price of just one game these days.

I've only picked up Supreme Commander 1, the Forest, and I just got a $20 gift card to pick something else up too!

Whats funny is I have barely done it this year. Just picked up Transport Fever and will probably get Watchdogs 2 as well.
