Retail version for LSPDRF?

Featured Replies

I installed everything fine, but when I launch RAGE plugin hook it says retail version not supported?

On one of the photos you can see written in red letters on the bottom left of rage plugin hook it says "15608481_1102355049862174_386514864_o.pngretail version not supported".

You are running an old version of the program used to launch LSPDFR, which is Rage Plugin Hook.

Just go to the following website and download the latest patch for GTA V. Some people are having issues with the new RPH patch so be wary if it crashes on you.

Here is the link.

Also be advised that some of your mods wont work until the developer patches the mod for the new GTA update.

I'm downloading the latest version - it was added yesterday.

RAGE Plugin Hook - Open Alpha - 0.48.1040.10065

That's the one. Like I said it has been causing some issues for a lot of people, myself included. It's probably going to be a good week or two before they get to a stable version like 47 and all your favorite mods to be updated.

So I'm downloading everything fine etc. but its the problem with the creators?

Well with a new GTA patch they may have changed a lot of things and some of the things in the mods you use might become incompatible due to the update from Rockstar. For instance I can't use the LSPD vehicle pack anymore with this update because of something Rockstar did. It's not the mod authors fault that it isn't compatible anymore, that's just the way these things go. But the download isn't the issue, it's just not completely stable like the last version was. It's going to take them a little bit to get everything sorted out. That's why it's important to have a backup for this game because it can all not work the next day.

So it's just pure waiting now :(

P.S. : it's my first time trying modding so I'm having a lot of problems.

That's probably due to the addition of a new DLC folder, nothing too difficult to overcome, you should be able to solve this problem with a quick search on the website :)

Well I did a fresh copy of the mods folder with the new DLC and installed the files to that update.rpf but it still wasn't launching because of it.

Was you able to get rid of the LSPD vehicle pack (uninstall) and reinstall it again - as if it was your first time putting it on there?  I had that exact same problem until I figured out that I needed to just uninstall all of Captain14's packs (LSPD, Sheriff, and FIB) and reinstall them again so they'll spawn in the game when need be.  That, for me, has been accomplished.

Another issue I had because of the updates was certain standalone vehicles - like the Caprice by 72will I had - didn't spawn in because the vehicles.meta info for that particular car was gone so I had to put it back in the overall vehicles.meta file and I was able to spawn it in again.

I wound up having to change my gameconfig.xml file and everything worked just fine :D

Same here (just to be on the safe side) and no problems on this end.

You are running the wrong version of the RPH - Please read all instructions on the LSPDFR download page.

you mean I'm running the wrong version? or the people having the other problem? If I'm running the  wrong one, where is the LSPDFR download page?

LSPDFR is on the right version, but it can be loaded only thanks to the Rage Plugin Hook, and this RPH isn't up to date, you've to update it. All the info is written on the LSPDFR download page, where you downloaded LSPDFR :)
