LSPDFR is not a virus; if it was over a million people wouldn't be playing it.

For it to be a million people playing, almost every single download would have to be a unique person each time, and then they'd have to play consistently. I know for a fact that I've downloaded the mod at least 5/6 times through re-installs for various reasons. I'd say the number of players is closer to a quarter of a million, maybe less.

Ignore Norton. It warns you everything is a virus, even when it's admitting itself the files are safe.

 

"600,000 Norton users on our database have succesfully used this file without issue, we have removed this item and quarantined it for you"..

Because Norton is rubbish. It doesn't know a virus when it sees it (unless it's in its tiny database) so just assumes anything not from one of the tiny list of its trusted sites/manufacturers must be a virus... even when it has it in its database that other users use it without issue.
