cant believe rockstar decided to go and pull off another gta iv title patch considering this game stopped updating since when? ya know 

 

i been away from this site for bout two months now and quite frankly i miss patrolling i just got gta iv back and now everything is different has there been any good answers for this ? i own a steam version copy of gta i just installed it two days ago clean reinstall havent touched anything yet

This patch works for EFLC only?

So I just found this forum by a quick google search of "GTA IV trainer 1.0.8.0". Anyways, the title says GTA 4 Patch 8 Modding Bypass, yet the whole page is for EFLC, and not GTA 4! Are there any instructions on GTA 4 1.0.8.0 patch bypass?

Not yet and im sure not till 2017 due to holidays coming up in 12 days many people will not be focusing on this game

Also a random question, why is max file upload size is 39.54MB? Is it like calculated through loads of statistics and data that this is optimal number? Why not just 40MB? lol

I will provide the download for GTA Original Downgrade, and I will clean up this post a little with better detailed information.

I have no clue what is going on here... so my question is simple and short - will LCPDFR work on this new GTA IV  update?

None. However, from what I heard there is an update "being worked on". So, could be days, could be weeks, could be months... who knows.

this means all those mods for LCPDFR need to re update, all callouts and stuff... hell of a job

I updated my post one last time for more clarity for downgrading instructions. Don't confuse yourself. I thought this community would be smart enough to figure it out, without explaining in depth. 

 

No, there is not a script hook release for 1.0.8.0 YET, this tutorial now suits GTA IV ORIGINAL.

 

If your game does not start, you did the downgrade wrong, and you need to re-install the game back fresh. Deleting all the content that exist when deleted, removing all mods.

If you so however cannot log in via the social club launcher, then yes you will need to update. However, if you have successfully signed into the social club launcher atleast ONCE, just remove the "paul.dll" file from the game directory in which you'll then be able to bypass the social club launcher (And still be able to play online).

Anyways, for the people that have got there game updated, this is the tutorial they will have to follow. The old social club launcher is patched and cannot be used for the people who uses the pirated version, which the update exist, which you can manually update, and downgrade and use the new method of signing into social club, and having the ability to play online.

 

 

Once script hook releases an update for 1.0.8.0 this post will become useless, and you'll then be able to update, without having to downgrade. However, lcpdfr could potentially be broken after the fact.

First of all I want to thank you for creating this tutorial, it's pretty easy to understand even to a complete noob like me.

I did the tutorial step by step and it worked but now when I play GTA IV the buildings and roads simply doesn't appear. Last time I tried to play GTA IV (two years ago I think) I had that problem, tried to fix it (even contacted rockstar for help) but I failed and unistalled the game. What should I do?  Pic related is not mine but it's the same problem I'm having

I've had one person report about this issue, and it looks common for low end PC's especially laptops. Make sure that you do this on a clean GTA IV installation, meaning make sure that all the content, and the game folder is deleted. 

 

Also, I have not tested this, nor the patch above with original gta/lost and damned, only EFLC. This post was originally for EFLC, but I've provided documentation for both hoping that it'll be the same, which I don't think there's no difference.

 

I'll do some research. In the mean time, you can try a commandline for example and see if that'll fix your memory issues. Also, can you provide your computer specs? Thanks.

I'll unistall GTA IV, install again and do the tutorial all over again, thanks.

Indeed I'm playing it on an laptop, my specs are: 

I7-5500U 2.40GHZ

16Gb of ram 

Amd R7 260

I know it's bad but it should run a 2007 game, I play GTA V on it without any problems  :(

If anyone is having the same problem that I am I pirated the game, downloaded the Mr Dj repack and the game is now working on 1.0.7.0

A real shame I had to pirate the game to get it to work.

Currently, I don't acknowledge torrent usage. I currently have the steam version of EFLC. There wouldn't be no difference in using either or.
