E.Z.E got a reaction from Noah Morris in which vehicles in GTA4 support ELSNormal police models will not work. They need to be ELS compatible.
If you didn’t know there is downloads. Within downloads you have mods for GTA IV. Within those downloads, you can find vehicle models, and the most important thing is the filters.
This is filtered with all ELS compatible models, and most popular (downloaded) http://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta4mods/vehicle-models/?since=all_time&advanced_search_submitted=1&csrfKey=ce94ba930e7447ed93df7c8c8578fe6a&downloads_field_2=&downloads_field_3=&downloads_field_4=ELS&sortby=file_downloads&sortdirection=desc
have fun.

Also do you want to help start up another lcpdfr GTA IV clan? I have 10 recruits as of now.

E.Z.E reacted to Reddington in ELS Lights not workingYou shouldn't ever need to redownload GTA V just for one mod unless that mod messed with core game files.
In OpenIV, go to ASI Manager and uninstall ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI and then click install again to reinstall them. Next, restart your PC, and try loading into the game again and see if that works.

E.Z.E got a reaction from FCV96 in GTA IV Original & EFLC Downgrade Instructions1.0.7.0 & 1.1.2.0 Script Hook (Patch 7)
Hello guys, I will be giving you a tutorial on how to get GTA IV (PC) working with mods after patch. This is a downgrade tutorial in which will take you back below the version you came from.
Rockstar released an update for PC GTA IV regarding about a fix for their social club launcher (Due to people not being able to log in) which is now fixed.
Please follow this tutorial to help you get gta working with mods, and the ability to play online (Spoofing)
Step 1:
Do a fresh installation of GTA IV. Make sure all modded content is removed from the game. Once the installation has finished, run the game once via steam, (In which will install the requirements needed for the game to run). Start the game, and sign into the social club launcher. When you get to the title screen click "Live" or press the "Home" key to open "GFWL". Sign into your xbox live account. Your account will begin downloading, and you might be asked to update GFWL. Do that update, and when done, exit the game which will finish the update preparation. Exit anyways if it doesn't update after you signed in. If you have a pirated version of GTA IV, you can manually update the game yourself. Update to GTAIV (to include Episodes from Liberty City) login servers – Rockstar Support
Note: You might have to link your GFWL account to social club in order to play online.
Step 2:
Navigate to your steam, and or game directory of Grand Theft Auto. Create a backup of "paul.dll" and make sure you keep it safe out of the game source folder.
Step 3: Downloading (Patch 7)
EFLC > https://www.mediafire.com/?0ra54rarpi4ahp9 (Rockstar removed this link so I uploaded it)
GTA Original > https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/200145406--May-28-2010-Grand-Theft-Auto-IV-Patch-7-Title-Update-v-1-0-7-0-English-1-0-6-1-Russian-1-0-5-2-Japanese-
Download the patch, and extract the contents into a folder, called (Update), just to stay neat. Also create another folder called (Extracted). We will use both folders in this tutorial. Make sure that you do not create these folders in the game source directory, but outside of it.
Step 4:
I've figured that it would be better to NOT use the installer, but manually getting the files, and overwriting them. You can do this with ease with an application called lessmsi A tool to view and extract the contents of an msi file - lessmsi. Open lessmsi-gui.exe. You will see a file bar at the top next to a button. Click the button, then navigate to the "Update" folder you created in which you extracted the contents of for Patch 7, and select "TitleUpdate.msi". Once done, make sure you click the "Select All" button, and extract the contents to the extracted folder you created. (Not the game source folder).
Step 5:
After you extracted the content from the TitleUpdate.msi file using lessmsi, move or copy the extracted content to the game source directory. Overwrite/replace all files if asked.
Step 6:
Put back "paul.dll" that I told you to keep a backup of. Start the game normally with steam, or LaunchGTA.exe (Recommended)
Rockstar might remove the old update download (They did), but hopefully ScriptHook will be updated by Alexander. In that case, You would not have to follow this guide, but until then this is the only way to play with mods.
When ScriptHook releases just verify integrity with steam, which will update you back to the current release.
And thats it . Add my gfwl live account (UnRatedAction). I will be playing ALOT mainly lcpdfr if you are interested in joining up with a police clan with me.
Other steam accounts(Str8Geeked(blazinon420), MIGOS(legitsoulja))

E.Z.E reacted to SgtPeppersbr in GTA IV Original & EFLC Downgrade InstructionsFirst of all I want to thank you for creating this tutorial, it's pretty easy to understand even to a complete noob like me.
I did the tutorial step by step and it worked but now when I play GTA IV the buildings and roads simply doesn't appear. Last time I tried to play GTA IV (two years ago I think) I had that problem, tried to fix it (even contacted rockstar for help) but I failed and unistalled the game. What should I do? Pic related is not mine but it's the same problem I'm having

E.Z.E got a reaction from Janis28 in GTA IV Original & EFLC Downgrade InstructionsI updated my post one last time for more clarity for downgrading instructions. Don't confuse yourself. I thought this community would be smart enough to figure it out, without explaining in depth.
No, there is not a script hook release for 1.0.8.0 YET, this tutorial now suits GTA IV ORIGINAL.
If your game does not start, you did the downgrade wrong, and you need to re-install the game back fresh. Deleting all the content that exist when deleted, removing all mods.
If you so however cannot log in via the social club launcher, then yes you will need to update. However, if you have successfully signed into the social club launcher atleast ONCE, just remove the "paul.dll" file from the game directory in which you'll then be able to bypass the social club launcher (And still be able to play online).
I've made a post if I could however continue the development of first response, but I didn't even get a response. Maybe I should ask again. I would love to continue the development of first response.
Anyways, for the people that have got there game updated, this is the tutorial they will have to follow. The old social club launcher is patched and cannot be used for the people who uses the pirated version, which the update exist, which you can manually update, and downgrade and use the new method of signing into social club, and having the ability to play online.
Once script hook releases an update for 1.0.8.0 this post will become useless, and you'll then be able to update, without having to downgrade. However, lcpdfr could potentially be broken after the fact.
