What do you think should Rockstar GTA V improve on

Featured Replies

I want all the side stuff SA had on top of what IV had. On top of that I want more land to cover. I also agree on getting rid of the friends thing, it was cool building up friendships to get certain abilities, but the upkeep was waaaay to annoying. I did like some of IV side stories like the serial killer, that was funny and the random person blue thing, those were fun and I kinda wish they expanded on that some too.

This is a signature, not a good one, but one that's needed

  • Thats the IV cruiser with a new lightbar. Looks terrible.

  • No mobile phone, please, I don't want to go bowling when I'm being shot by 50 swat! And typing cheats like in SA, without a damn phone number...

  • oh boy....sounds perfect. Nothing's better than a HEMI,great music and a police chase :D

On IV, if you turned on sleep mode on your phone you wouldn't need to worry about maintaining your friendships as it froze the main story line and any phone calls you would get.

make it moddable. Do what valve does. Give us the tools so we can mod.

EDIT: Greater distances so it makes sence to fly airplanes.

Policehelicopters where you can turn on a searchlight. would be awesome if you played a policemod like this and someone was in a heli and lighted up the place for you.

I want K DST back, and feeling again the wind coming through the window while driving my muscle car at dusk in the desert, running away from the police!

Well there is reason that it is giving up on the PC. PC is worth much less then the console (how many people buy your product). This is due to two factors. One, PC is homeland of little kiddies so we lose their money. Two (which is a small but over-exaggerated reason) piracy. GTA 4 was pirated up the ass. Don't give me the bull-shit that people pirated cause it didn't have an sdk. Piracy is a partial problem in PC gaming that is true and overly exaggerated. Have you seen Bethseda move closer to the PC gamer? Me neither. Valve saves our asses from being a lone piece of gaming console. Valve and other programs like kickstarter keep pc gaming on life-support. If people still think they have the right to pirate even good games, well I don't know any more. PS: Skyrim was pirated on the PC much more than it was bought. Around 4 million copies pirated. EDIT: I have been a pc gamer for most of my life, so chill Im not a console fanboy.

about piracy.. call me criminal but to be honest i did that too with gta 4. (but now i use a totally legal paid version of the game)Reason why i did it at the first place was because GTA 4 was so poorly developed for pc.

And because i wasn't sure my PC could run the game. But after about 3 weeks i paid for the game. (like i did befor on xbox and PS3)

In my Case pirace maid me also a buyer. Without a Pirate Version of GTA 4 i would proberbly never paid for it on PC. And that's the case with a hole lot of other games too.

I use pirate versions of games as demos and to test if my PC can handle them. and if i like the game i buy it.

Saying Steam ect is keepng PC gaming alive is just stupid. Almost every game that uses steam was piratet too. so it simply dosen't help anything evoiding piracy. It just punished honest people that pay for games. Now why? I tell you

If you use a crack you don't need to do shit. You just double click the shortcut and play...

If you paid for the game you need to download steam, origon ect. You need a serial number, you need to insert the disc ect.

See what i mean? The honest buyer gets his ass beaten whit all the Copy and Piracy Protection while the Pirates just install the game and play it.

The System just dosen't work that way and it never will.

I can see people pirate games to see if they can run them or if there any good. ( Why pay for a game when its going to be !@#$y just wasted $50) If I like the game I go out and buy it right away.

Getting back to GTA 5.... Hope they have dirt trails that are pretty long like go up in mountains or along rivers... In SA I love to get the 4x4 and go off roading on the trails in the back country. I think this has been said before but make it a lot more friendly for the computer

Myths, Easter Eggs, legends... Oh, please, how many time have I spent in San Andreas looking for the bigfoot around SA forests, the strange lights; how many time investigating the places of this map, looking for ufos!

These legends and Easter Eggs of San Andreas how long did they extended the fun of the game... Seriously, GTA V needs them, they would extend much more the fun and avoid getting so boring as GTA IV after some time of finishing it.

I think they could improve on the AI cars, AI cops. Maybe allow us to be GTA cops without mods.

Keep dreaming, from knowing R* they woulden't do that but its LCPDFR dev team to make it happen though.

Althought I know this won't happen, cause the mythical GTA stars wanted level would dissapear, I'd like to see some kind of wanted system like in Driver Parallel Lines, where there were two wanted levels, in one there was a wanted level just for the car; appears when you've runned over someone, crashed police or shoot from the car, for example, but always from the car, and they can't recognize you if you mislead the police and abandon the car, however, if they see you leaving the car, you'll also get wanted level in another wanted level bar: a bar were the wanted level goes to your person instead of just to the car. This another bar is for example if the police see you stealing a car, shooting, etc,

This two bar would give realism; if you have just wanted level in your person, and if you steal a car and police haven't see you stealing, the car won't have wanted level but you, instead, will follow with the wanted level, so if you have a police car driving close to you, they will start recognizing you, and if they totally recognize your car will also get wanted level.

And another thing I'd like to see, since the game is based in the present day, is a expansion backing to 1992, like in SA, with all the gang fights, big cars, etc:)

Well there is reason that it is giving up on the PC. PC is worth much less then the console (how many people buy your product).

Give me sources, you can't just say "PC has the lowest sales" without quoting a source.

This is due to two factors. One, PC is homeland of little kiddies so we lose their money.

Little kiddies? When have you heard a 11/12/13/14 year old asking for a gaming PC for christmas? Never. They ask for PS3 and for Xbox360, that's also why when you play on those consoles you will, guaranteed, in every lobby have one 12 year old kid screaming "faggot". And yes, I do know this, because I own an Xbox360 and I played multiplayer games on it for over a year. So get your facts straight. You get much less little kids on PC, simply because they don't have the money for a Hi-End PC; and all their cool little friends have PS3s, so they want that.

Me neither. EDIT: I have been a pc gamer for most of my life, so chill Im not a console fanboy.

Piracy has always been a problem, not only on PC, but also on Consoles. And the best solution - what seems that game developers don't realize - against piracy is not over DRM'ing your games. It's providing an excellent game, that people actually wanna buy. I would never pirate a game such as GTA IV, simply because I enjoy it too much and I don't want to shoot myself in the foot by stealing money from the developers, which might end in a sequel not being made. So:

- Make great games with good multiplayer-modes and people will buy them. Why? because people, when they enjoy a game, recommend it to their friends and want to play with them online. And since pirated copies don't work online, they will logically buy the game.

- In the case of GTA V they should bring a bigger multiplayer, with dedicated servers and an API for creating server scripts. If R* would do that, ensuring multiplayer and roleplay communities got their hands on a game which can provide for their roleplay needs, it's very likely, that alot of now SA:MP communities migrate to GTA V, guaranteeing that lots of people buy the game. I actually don't know why R* isn't doing this, seeing how the demand for such a multiplayer was there in GTA IV, with for example IV:MP.

- Lower prices. Gamers aren't rich. Having to spend 70$/

Speaking about the Assassins Creed system, would be also good that when you kill someone police arrives and start looking around for suspects, inspecting places where you could hide, and telling people if they have seen anything or to move.

And please, Rockstar, make the ambulance drivers AI better, everytime an ambulance is close you wonder if you won't finish crushed under it.

that would be totally badass :D

i would love that

That's actually the beta map of San Andreas,

If you look to the north of San Fierro, you can see a small island. This was going to be a mimic of Alcatraz but was removed for some unknown reason.
