Hello all!

I decided to make a dlc pack with all the cars I wanted so I can make sure that I don't have to do this again, haha.

However, like always, something's messed up...
I've scoured the forum here and google and nothing helped...  Maybe one of you can?

1) My dlc is added and I can spawn the vehicles just fine (so therefore I'm assuming that my vehicles.meta is being read?)
Below you will find a screenshot of all the vehicles in my dlc:

2) I copied over all the sirensettings from the vanilla one so I can reference those in the dlc.  Here's an example of the carvariations for a car that doesn't work (note that I did copy this over from police3 that works and it still didn't help...)

I don't know what I'm missing.  I've tried changing the audioNameHash to: POLICE, police, POLICE2, police2, SHERIFF, sheriff and none of that worked.

If anyone can help I'll be forever in your debt!!!

I don't know what I'm missing.  I've tried changing the audioNameHash to: POLICE, police, POLICE2, police2, SHERIFF, sheriff and none of that worked.

If anyone can help I'll be forever in your debt!!!

So you got yours working to correct way? I was just adding a car at a time and from the get-go the lights/sirens never worked. Still get a regular horn. The only things I've added/edited were the carvariations and vehicles. Most of the vehicles had their files included in the download and it still didn't work.

Did you get engine sounds to work on the vehicles in question? If so: Try out siren mastery by Albo and add lines for the add-on cars. That gave some of my add-on cars sirens (audio) even though they had no proper audionamehash set. Could be a workaround for your issue. 

 

As for lights I gave up on trying to use carcol lines from a custom dlc folder and started editing the global carcols.ymt because I never got the dlc meta to work as well.

Its a pain how touchy some of these files are. I added a few lines which made a ton of my added vehicle's lights and sirens to work but then totally effed up some cars that always worked correctly. Ugh... And yeah, engine sounds work fine, just were without lights and sirens.
