Mafia III Modding

The devs specifically said II plays out like a hollywood gangster movie... and it does. None of the Mafia games would really fall under the realism category. Merely certain story details and specifics but in general, the titles are heavily action oriented which includes a lot of exploding cars and killing an endless number of people.

Games are games and it was done before as well. Jimmy's Vendetta? Wasn't anybody saying that ruined the series. JA? Just you running and gunning. Some even called it better than II itself.

About strategy and teamwork... in III you also wound up with a team. Even members of the Mafia who got betrayed by their peers. Vito per example. A lot of the game you work with the crew you've got, so you're doing planning, strategy and teamwork. You got John Donovan running a lot of the intel and perp work before you even do an op.

To be a game about the Mafia, you don't have to be working for them. It could be told from the PoV of an outsider as long as a heavy center point is the Mafia itself, which it is, and in great detail I migth add.

You dont get what Im trying to say.. But to prevent this from becoming another enless discussion, so lets just say opinions vary, both are great games.

Yep. The game was just updated and comes with FPS options. You can set it to 30, 60, or unlimited. As for the cars, I don't think it'd be a problem for me. :D I have plenty of cars that would fit

  • I'm not sure personally its enough of a leap forward from GTA 5 to warrant scripting police stuff and all that jazz.

The biggest Problem at Moment is, that the half of all CPU´s are not supported for this Game. And the other is that are to many Bugs and Glitches. The Port from Console to Pc was on my Eyes to fost and not completly finished. I self can not play (wrong CPU).

I would love modding for this game to take off but Mafia 2 didnt have as much as Mafia 1 so Im not sure it will happen. Im sure there will be some mods but as far as actual vehicle mods and a NOPDFR mod... perhaps. I would really just like a mod that allows the lights to be on when your outside of the car. Has anyone found a work around for this?

Also has anyone found any other emergency vehicles in the game such as an ambulance or firetruck?
