Certainly did.

And let me warn you: You're testing my patience.It shouldn't take that long to come out,Tom.I want it released ASAP.Or else...a NOoSE team is dispatched and headed for West Midlands,UK with strict orders to locate and hunt down any and all persons named "Tom".

My computer actually broke earlier today. I powered it down last night, and it wouldn't turn on this morning. I ran some tests and found it was the PSU so I've sent it back to the place I bought it from but it's going to be over 6 days before I get a replacement. I'm currently on my laptop but the project is on my desktop and have no way to transfer it.

Thats none of my business.Just got an update from the NOoSE team.They're almost out of LC (near the borders) and will be in Britain in no time.

FYI, our troops recently placed "mobile SAMS" on top of buildings around London in preperation for the olympic games, I wouldn't expect your little NoOSE team to get that far.

Seriously speaking,I was fed up from the "NY" image of LC.Changed the classic Vision SLRs to Whelen Edges (LED) a long time ago.The paintjob theme is better now too.So,its not really New York,but more of Liberty City only.And you don't know where actually is this fictional Liberty City,do ya?

As far as SAMs are concerned,these special troops have already bribed the MI6 chief who'll take care of everything after they reach UK,in their AH6 little bird and a 'Silent' Blackhawk (the pic above was taken from the silent blackhawk--a cousin chopper to the one which was destroyed while raiding Osama's residence).

Even if it's not NYC, Liberty City is certainly in the United States of America. NYC is pretty much a best case. Actual best case (slightly shorter than real distance): Boston, MA to Cardiff, Wales (not West Midlands, but the site I found didn't have West Midlands, and the distance to Cardiff is shorter). The distance is 2734 nautical miles. For comparison, the AH-6 Little Bird (the helicopter those NOoSE guys were in) has a speed of 152 knots (meaning it'd be over 18 hours), and a range of around 232 nmi. You'd need to refuel midair 11 times to reach England on a helicopter.

EDIT: Also, you think POLICE CARS determine the city? The NYPD has changed lightbars and paint schemes several times. How you know it's most similar to NYC:

* Climate: Consistent with a northern climate

* Geography

* Architecture

Because I like the excuse to look stuff up. You can learn a LOT by looking up random things and seeing where it takes you.

If there was a way to make cars in-game trigger this, similar to how IV Dash Cam works, maybe within a certain radius of your patrol car, this would be absolutely perfect.

The problem is that it's written in VB.net and is seperate to the game. Since I do not know C++ or C# I can't integrate the two. Anyway, this project has been delayed (See post quoted below)

NOTICE

For those of you who don't know, my PSU failed on Monday and I was without my beloved PC until earlier today. Once I replaced the PSU I was greeted with 2 corrupted hard drives which had been fried by the power surge when the PSU failed. I'll try my best to get this project back, but until I do so, this project will be delayed, though not completely lost. I'm really sorry guys, I'll try my best to recover my data over the weekend but there isn't much I can promise at this stage.

Thanks

-Tom
