Hi,

I like the idea of the ChaseMe mode in which you get to flip the script and be chased by the cops of LSPDFR. However, I was a little disappointed that the same Busted screen would display whenever you get caught. It would be cool if the ChaseMe mode could be extended so that when you are arrested, you are taken in for booking like the criminals you arrest as a cop. It would allow you to further role play as a criminal.

That sounds cool tho, But i think that can only happen when playing multi player and the other player arrest you and take you Downtown..

The ChaseMe mode isn't really meant to be a core feature of the mod. If you want to be chased by cops, just shoot a couple in GTA normally and you'll get chased to your heart's content. ChaseMe is a fun little easter egg, but really meant for plugin developers to test their mod functionality. 

That's actually a brilliant suggestion; instead of just being busted normally, your character could be cuffed like normal criminals, put in the back of a car, then the screen fades to black and your character is teleported to the Online police station character creation area (with the height board and camera) being processed, then teleported to the cell area. A similar mod was made for San Andreas where once you were busted you were put in one of the cells to wait out a timer for release. Obviously it's a minor niche feature compared to the rest of the mod, but it's good for immersion.

As @PNWParksFan explained, ChaseMe was originally meant just as a testing tool to see if backup worked properly. It was then kept in for others to use/enjoy too, first without player control over responding untes in the highly acclaimed Steve Haines Mode™, and later on as the ChaseMe mode we now all know. It is however not a core function of the mod, and since it is mainly just meant as a testing tool it most likely won't get changed unless it would be required for testing purposes.

Reopening this thread. It'd really be nice to have a feature like this. It certainly would help to make getting arrested feel more immersive.
