GTA V LAFD Battalion Chief /EMS Suburban (Add on) (WIP)

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm making a LAFD Battalion Chief Tahoe. With I know, not the right lighbar, but the real life doens't exist in GTA. Trying to be as close as possible.

Is someone intrested in making a HQ 4K skin for it?

Looks like a good start. I have to ask though, do you not have access to another Tahoe model? This one's rather dated...

Alright, the LAFD does not actually use Tahoes, they use Suburbans. Just recently there was one released for GTA V, which will also give you the proper wheels that you need.

Also, it looks like the EMS units use the light bar that you currently have, so you could get away with it:

Good work that you're doing!

Agree, would be better to use SkylineGTRFreak's Suburban as that's what the LAFD actually use. I can also help out with a 4K skin when you need it. Good to see some more LAFD stuff being made! :)

The chief rig has a Code3 XF2300. I believe someone did one for GTAIV.

Here's a very good image of the rear command modules on both the EMS and Bat rigs.

The EMS rigs have Whelen M7's for their surface LEDs and a Code3 Defender for the lightbar.

So far, looking very promising. Best of luck with the project.

@itchyfeet I would love to use the Code XF2300 but there isn't one avalible. And I'm not a 3D builder, so if some has the time?

I actually do 3D models, albeit low poly models for another game, so no bueno in GTAV.

As to the lightbar, I think your problem is that the lightbar exists only on locked models that you cannot access. Hopefully you get something sorted out. Good luck.

Played a lot of EM4 LA mod, was always fun. Well, I can't get it, same for a ladder truck, searching my ass off to find one to convert, all locked and the owners aren't online anymore:pinch:
