Laptops typically are pretty poor at running games. Unless it's a purpose build laptop for gaming, it's more than likely running onboard graphics which won't run anything bar minecraft at a push.

Ok so what if I were to get a new laptop with i5 processor with 16 GB ram and 1TB ? Would you think that would run better

Hate to be rude, but did you even read my post?

Just in case there's a chance your laptop is powerful enough, give me the model of it.

I agree with @AlconH cuz you won't easily find a laptop for gaming you will need to buy a desktop gaming PC or a laptop gaming like Lenovo ideapad Y700 i mean expensive laptop

Thanks @AlconH

No yes I did my friend! I know you said that I would be better to get a PC. I cannot get a desktop I need it to be portable. Just asking if maybe something with these specs would

help out

i7-6500U Processor
8GB, 1600MHz, DDR3L
1TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
Graphics card:
AMD Radeon R5 M335 2GB DDR3

Yeeeaaaah. No.

That's a dual core laptop CPU. GTA V requires a quad core.

R5 M335 is a GPU that might have been 'usable' for basic games a few years back.

The only thing there that actually meets the requirements is the RAM.

If you want a laptop that can actually run GTA V then be prepared to dish out like $1500+

Well, at fine settings the cost would be around $1000 or smth.

The laptop industry is seriously fucked... Sad truths.

but that GPU is going to be crap either way.

Its around 80% worse than my old GPU that ran GTA V minimum settings at 15fps

It was so laggy that it was unplayable.

You clearly aren't reading my posts. First time around I talked about needing a good graphics card, you replied with specs of a laptop without including the graphics card.

The second time around I asked you for the model of your PC, you replied with the specs of a new laptop, not the model like I asked.

I really want to help you, but if you refuse to actually read and reply with what I'm asking for, you're going to make things really difficult.
