Hello all. This is a LSPDFR question as much as a GTA 5 question in my eyes because I don't care about GTA 5 unless I am playing LSDPR. So here is my issue and I hope someone out there has some insight because so far, GTA 5 forums are ignoring me.

On June 14th I logged into GTA 5 expecting the new patch to download, just like it had done automatically for me on all previous updates. However, since then the new patch is not downloading and I am stuck on 678.1 which is absolutely ancient as Albo put it, I am unable to play the game as major mods don't support the ancient ragenative and other required .dll required to run plugins on LSPDFR. I run the disk version of the game and like I previously said, this has never happened. I have not disabled automatic downloader or anything, I changed nothing, but without the latest version of GTA 5 I cannot enjoy all the incredible perks that the script genius's have been creating. Any help is eternally greatful.

Ah, thank you!

I know you haven't changed anything, but can you launch the game into Online properly, or does it force offline mod?

You can manually download patches too.

Negative, you can't download the patches manually, only through the Social Club app.

Odd, seemed to work for me a few months back.

Check this link i post this link from Rockstar games to provide an old patch from R* games then install it and i guess so the game will update automatically 

I had this same issue in the past. When the game updated a few months back, I would crash out of the launching story mode screens. I noticed that my game was pointing to a different version. I realized I had a car mod installed outside of my mod folder (forgive me, I was just starting out with LSPDFR at the time). As soon as I removed it, the game started pointing to the most current version.

So flash forward to today, I wanted to wait to update RPH because I knew that Rockstar was going to be releasing major patches very close together in time. So today I finally updated RPH and have it using the current GTA5 version.  But I am in the same boat as the OP in that my game is still pointing to 678. I know I have the latest version of GTA 5, RPH detects it and the Social Club splash screen also shows the latest version.

I have not updated my plugins for a while now, so I'm thinking that may be an issue and will do that tomorrow. But other than those plugins (Code 3 Callouts, Traffic Policer, Assorted Callouts, Secondary Callouts, Breathalyser) LSPDFR and RPH,  no other mods sit outside of my mod folder. I'm thinking that since my versions are are so old, the game is somehow getting pointed to 678, just like the vehicle mod did earlier. 

Is there anything else I need to update? I have the steam version of the game.
