Was getting angry

Featured Replies

Hi, im not so angry right now, but when it happend i was ready to throw my screen out the window.

I have turned OFF ALL check for updates in the scripts and yet i got this while i was trying to record and it wouldnt let me pick option 3...

Why the hell make such options in the ini files if they DO NOT WORK?

//Default: AutoCheckForUpdates=true
AutoCheckForUpdates=False

Im thinking, is the modders out there trying to "sniff" or keylogger or whatever on it's users? Since we cannot and dont have any controll what so ever of a dll getting access to the internet!

When i find a firewall software that allows me to block 100% of all files(/also dll files) then im buying it and then this crap stops.

Sometimes mistakes slip through the cracks.  I know I've put keybindings in that I thought I referenced to open a menu but then found out through reports that I didn't, which was simply because I didn't type the name correctly.

I know Albo, and he would never do such a thing on purpose.  I would recommend posting this in the comments of the plugin this deals with and letting him know it isn't working.

Between all of his amazing plugins and work done for the LSPDFR community, I'm sure he missed some things.  It's our job as a community to let him know what he missed.

At the end of the day, you are using free software. I'm sure this was just a bug, that will be fixed, but your attitude is really rotten and entitled. Albo, and the other plugin developers, and the LSPDFR team do this for free. If I got an e-mail like this from someone who employs me to do freelance work, I probably wouldn't work for them again.
If they are making you "angry", I recommend you stop using mods if they are doing that to your mental state.

I've got a simple solution for you, either a update it like everyone else and problem is solved, b just press option 2 and it goes away or c don't use the freely provided scripts that Albo and others create for us. Quite simple really. And next time you make a post, don't bring all the hostility into the post.

Ahh, so now it's the user that is the problem and not the software that indeed does what ever it feels like?

The problem is your attitude, towards Albo after he spends hundreds if not thousands of hours bringing you content to use for free and you behave this way. Like Cyan said, if this is your mental state over something so incredibly simple DON'T USE MODS.

Okey, i took your advice and have deleted all mods that use that file and wont use that in the future.

Thanks.

All you had to do was install the file below in your main directory and the problem was solved. Enjoy having zero realism in your game.

As long as the activity is not malicious, then the software can do what it likes. Nothing on this site has any warranty, except that we try and make sure nothing here could harm your system.

I did. Cant you read?

Once again with the hostility, I really hope you don't lead your real life this way. Good way to get yourself banned here.

@seve Thank you for your extremely useful and kind request for support.

This message can pop up only once per session as a maximum, and exclusively the first time you go on duty. Unless you were recording a virtual vlog of yourself going on duty at a police station and are not able to operate a simple video editing program to cut that small section out, I don't see how you were on the verge of throwing your computer out of your window. If you actually were, please consider your and others' personal safety and chain your computing equipment to a wall to prevent such things from really occurring, along with taking an anger management program.

As this is an update for my Common library, it unfortunately didn't check the INI file of the specific plugin you were using. I have taken note of this. A simple solution would be to take 30 seconds to update the Common plugin from the download page supplied.

Naturally, if you believe any of my plugins are a virus, it is at your sole discretion to delete them. Nobody's forcing you to download the end results of my many hours of free work.

Also, there is no need to purchase a firewall; in case you weren't aware, you can simply use Windows Firewall to control applications' access to the internet.

Kind regards.

I don't see how responding in a hostile manner to someone who is already hostile makes this situation any better. Locking.
