Anyway to force GTA NOT to update?

Ever since Jerkstar's update recently that broke my game, I haven't bothered reinstalling anything due to the simple fact their updates are becoming ore frequent, and things will keep breaking.  I saw the sticky topic in the LSPDFR section on how to revert your game, but a lot of people reported that as not working this time.  So is there any other way to prevent GTA's updates?  I'm really craving playing LSPDFR again, but I don't want to go through the hassle of reinstalling everything again.

Unfortunately that's the name of the game. I never use RPH revert. I keep multiple backups of working versions on my D drive and Keep both vanilla and modded versions on my C drive for easily switching back n forth between online and modded SP games. 

My backups have saved my ass more times than not when it comes to GTA V updates.
