LCPDFR Install Help + Vehicle Help

Featured Replies

Hello, I'm Joseph and I'm new to LCPDFR and Grand Theft Auto IV on PC. I need help installing LCPDFR for the first time. I'm on Windows 10 and I bought the game off of Steam. I am not having any issues with GTA IV so far. What do I have to do to play LCPDFR? Also how do I get a vehicle for use? Thanks everyone for the help!

All you need to do is download LCPDFR, and transfer all of the files directly into your GTA 4 root directory. There are the basic GTA 4 police cars, or you can look in the GTA 4 Mods section of this site and look in the models part. There are an immense amount of vehicles there. Just about every vehicle has installation instructions, but if you can't figure it out, we will be more than happy to help you.

There will be instructions in your download of exactly what to do.

If you use any of my skins in a YouTube video, please let me know. I would love to see it. output_hzFinh_zps2w8whjkq.gif

For vehicles, you will need a program like SparkIV or OpenIV.

SparkIV Tutorial

OpenIV Tutorial

I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH.

BACK. UP. YOUR. GAME. FILES.

to do so:

  1. open up OpenIV/SparkIV
  2. if your in sparkiv go to the side and scroll all the way down to the bottom, click on CDI images. if your on openiv, you should see models
  3. export all .img files in there and put them in a SAFE PLACE THAT IS NOT LIKELY TO FAIL ANYTIME SOON.

if you dont want to have to replace all vehicles when one stuffs up, back up each individual vehicle

If your new, I suggest getting ELS.

Emergency Lighting System (ELS) is what most 3rd-Party vehicles use. It basically animates your emergency light bar and gives you control over your sirens. You can do things like have the lights without sirens and so on.

Kind Regards,

Sergeant Blake.

I downloaded LCPDFR, but how do I start it? I heard its Alt+p, but that's now working and I've tried F3, but that's not it either. Maybe I'm putting LCPDFR in the wrong GTA IV folder?

now should be not* my bad.

Did you download the installer or the manual install?
