Apparently there is some virus spread on the web that alters all DNS servers to the ones the hacker provided, most of these sites look fairly the same only with advertisements that the hacker placed on them.

On a serious note, lets think logically about this.

If a site has high-standard firewall software, the virus can't get onto the site and then onto users computers.

Also, just be careful on what sites you visit, its highly unlikely that sites such as Youtube, Facebook and Twitter would carry this virus.

When you download a file, before opening it you should scan it with your antivirus and a anti-malware program.

EDIT: I followed the .pdf files instructions, looks like I'm in the clear for now at least.
