Hey guys,

I'm enjoying every last bit of the mod, problem is that I'm very limited to patrolling...I can do vinewood hills, the countryside, wilderness, paleto bay, sandy shores, and the airport with fair FPSt, but as it goes with the city of Los Santos my game tends to freeze or memory error causing a game crash.

My specs are AMD FX 8320 Eight-Core Processor 3.50 GHz, 16 gb ram, AMD Radon R7 200 Series 2GB GDDR5 Windows 7 64 Bit.

Yes I have modded quite a bit of my game...

-Police, Police2, Police3, Police4, Riot, PolMav, Predator, PoliceB, Firetruck, Ambulance, LGuard, Pranger, FBI, FBI 2, and some of the added vehicles within RDE.  I've also edited the textures on some of the trucks, buses, and taxis.  Replaced some of the planes.  Replaced all uniforms from all emergency serviecs, clothes on hookers, gang members, strippers, barmaids, etc;

My apologies if my post is really long but I'm looking at doing something to prevent the crashing and allow me to patrol the city at fair FPS I'm not running the best rig I understand, I know if the mods folder goes bye, then I can definately patrol everywhere, but I like my mods though I'm willing to sacrifice some of my mods, please someone able to help me out would be awesome.  Thank you.

Try removing VisualV (resource hungry), Keep Calm (known to create microfreezes) and Emergency Strobes (same as Keep Calm).

I'm going to say that because of your GPU, it might have something to do with VisualV and the fact that you have so many replaced vehicles. Depending on what models they are, that's a lot of VRAM to use.

 

EDIT: I dunno the size of planes, that could be a coralation between bad performance and the city because there are planes flying overhead. It could be that the planes file size is quite huge.
